  1. i'll give it a try again in the grimey conditions we're getting now. I'm going as much as possible even though getting low is hard because of the in consistent snow. I almost ended up in the trees twice:nono: I hope that fixes it. They seem pretty solid, maybe just bad luck.
  2. and then you can eventually sell it to your neighbors. When you pay off the equipment, a 100% profit business
  3. how late does sugar loaf's season usually run?
  4. my order for my td2s goes in when i sell my burton race plates. The front plastic latch broke from a fall and today, the front released on me. As i posted in the other burton plate thread, it was just a regular fall and the binding released. I now actually think that maybe i fell because the binding released. No idea, it happend to fast.
  5. I wiped out in the slush today and my front foot popped out. Nothing major because i was already sliding down when it really came loose. At least i think so. Its wierd, it was on really snug but still popped out. No snow jammed in it so i have no clue what happend. That run was defintly cursed because as I fell, one of my friends wipped out as well and then she fell again lower on the slope along with my other friend. Before that we didn't fall all morning.
  6. i'm totally confuzed. a 2004 board? didn't burton get out of the alpine market before then?
  7. i got Sessions snowboard pants and jacket. Both were incredible deals at TJ Max which completly blew my mind. the right knee on my pants has a hole in it and the left butt cheek does too. But that would've happend in any pants because i fell more than 100 times on ice when i was learning to ride this year. on a side note, my jacket came with a Recco device which is cool but totally useless on the east. i highly reccommend going to TJ MAx when they have they winter blowout sales to get high quality stuff for cheap. They had $200 northface jackets for $100 and things like that.
  8. i skied originally but now i ski only when i have to teach someone else how to ski. My skis are fake, wannabe carving skis. the first skis i ever bought some cheap rossis that came in a package at MVP sports with boots. Total crap. Now i have those same exact skis with mountain dew topsheet. They are the crappiest giveaways ever. But i still love them and they do get me down the hill. I'm defintly in the market for some SL skis.
  9. I got burton race plates, exactly like these. It doesn't look like people are paying that much for them. If these sell for a hundred, i might put do just that, put the $ towards TD2s. They seem pretty sturdy to me though, so nothing to complain about yet. My riding hasn't reached the level where i would be breaking bails. Although i did snap off a piece of the latch on my front foot from accidently going backwards and falling. still works fine, just a pain to close.
  10. Yesterdey at my local mountain, the lift came to an emergency brake instantly. (it was doing that all night, defintly pissing everyone off) That was probably the most ive seen a chair sway. I was up there for a good 5 minutes without moving and this gave me a chance to really inspect the lift and how they made it safer. The seat is angled back so it kind of forces you to lean back. Also, the seat cover is relitivly high frictionl rubber. At least with my pants, it would make it a chore to fall off. I did then notice that most little kids are not able to actually lean back because their legs are too short. I can defintly see how kids can easily fall off. I didn't notice one parent that didn't put the bar down for their kids which is a good thing. I'm defintly not against the restraining bar, i just find it easier to just put my hand around the back of the chair and relax on the way up. When i get on the lift with reletivly small kids and they don't put it down, i put down because i should be the "responsible adult."
  11. wisdom teeth are fun. Perc are even fun...ner...? more fun. i got mine out 2 summers ago. That was an interesting few days which felt...well i didn't feel much at all. I can't make it up to ECES either cuz of my friend's plans. I got a free ticket which i need to use before the season ends. Are there any holidays which we get a monday off between now and may? btw, have a quick recovery with the surgery. Wisdom teeth really blow and at one point, it was the worst pain ive had in my life. Then the percs stepped in:D
  12. ive been watching those 5th gear shows on google videos for a while. They're really good.
  13. anyone going to be there tonight. I'll be there from about 1:30 to 9ish. i'll be on frequency 6-18 on my radio and again, my cell is 508 265 1974. i saw someone on an asym yesterday as they were leaving. I'll be sticking to the challenger until they close it down then i dunno where i'll be.
  14. tonja, sorry to hear about the horrible week and the break up. From first hand experience (being in college, and a guy), many, not most, but many guys dont want a relationship till they are out of college. Well at least not till the very end of college. I'm stayin relationship free till 3rd year cuz i need the first 2 years to myself. bout the period thing, well, my ex was on seasonal. That stuff works wonders.

  21. do they make boards with topsheets like that any more?
  22. id just like to say welcome to bomberonline. You defintly came to the right place for help because between all of these guys and gals, you can learn anything. I'm not too knowledgable on any boards except i have a burton ultra prime 162 and it was defintly a good board to learn on. You would defintly be able to pick it right back up with it. Good luck!
  23. that is a sweet looking board. damn!
  24. i'm all in. Resort reviews dont focus on the right things necessary for a carver so this is def a good idea.
