  1. Hey Neil, not too encouraging of an up date. As it stands now, I should be up next week for several days, Wed thru Sat. Hope to see ya soon. GC
  2. Some interest, but still no takers. OBO = or best offer. I don't want to create a fire sale mentality nevertheless, I will consider all offers. Email questions, comments, and offers through my profile or post here. Thanks GC
  3. These boards were built for World Cup competitor at 185 lbs. They have little time on the snow and all aspects of the boards are in excellent condition. I currently ride duplicates of these boards---just with a little more ware and tare. I don't need two more so these are up for sale. Approximate dimensions and asking prices are as follows: GS WCR Length 186 Width 19.8 Radius 14+ meter $550 + shipping OBO Reduced $450 + shipping OBO SL WCR Length 161 Width 19.5 Radius 9+ meter $520 + shipping OBO Reduced $420 + shipping OBO Email through my profile for questions and offers. Thanks. Gary
  4. ouch!!! That pic just hurts. I will get the same thing going if I ride with my boots sloppy, so long as my heal stays locked I'm ok. I tried to have the boot punched out, but since the issue is caused by the buckel rivits, the boot fitters a Footloose in Mammoth said it wouldn't work.
  5. Well you know...I'm not sure burned was out totally accurate. Maybe just a couple of board choices that didn't quite fit my style, and over the last several seasons I have been making such an effort to get as many days in as I could, I found myself working for the session rather than the session working for me. :freak3:Not to mention the lack of surf time. Anyway we have already discussed this. Hope things are well with you. It will probably be another year before I make it to SES, maybe we'll ride again then. Keep in touch. GC
  6. Here’s my deal: I have been ridding Indys for last four years. The stiffness and flex works well for me; however, I have developed two bone spurs on the outside of my back foot, and cannot go through another season experiencing this issue. The spurs are caused from the buckle rivets rubbing outside of the foot as mentioned above. Last year I invested in some custom foot beds to take up the extra space in my packed out original liners, which seemed to help, but did not completely solve the problem. This year I am considering thermo liners or possibly changing to the Stratos Pro. I would rather make the Indy’s last a couple more seasons, or until Deluxe changes the buckle system on this boot---like the new Tracker. Please give me your ideas, and experiences in dealing with this type of issue. Thanks. GC
  7. Love that 183 RT!!! Lots of life on the edges? If the scratches are truley minor on the base, I'll pay more...let me know what you think. You can also email me through my profile. Thanks. Gary
  8. Much more accurate than throwing a dart! Although a bit quirky, I've found it to be amazingly accurate, at least for the easter Sierra.
  9. I have a several custom WCR Prior round tails that I will be posting soon on BOL. They were made for a 180 to 200 lb ridder 04/05 season. Would you be interested in discusing a trade? Email me back through my profile and let me know what you think. GC

    Park City

Tim where are you? Do you now live in UT or still in AZ? Everyone is starting to talk up SNES next week---should be fun. Hope to see ya there!
  11. Wish I could go, but I left all my stuff up in Mammoth :( Should be mighty fine!!! We need to talk about SNES. Sounds like Spang is in for sure. As it stands right now I'm good for friday and Saturday.
  12. Hey Tim, I keep missing you on the swing. What's your riding schedule? Are you continuing to make it up every weekend and were is Neil?
  13. Subarus are better in the snow than ferraris anyway, not that this comment really has anything to do with this post---I just had to say it anyway. More to the point, jtslalom's boards probably would have been put to better use as a seat, even when he was riding them. I've seen some guys carve pretty hard in softies. More power to them. As for all the rest who are dedicated to the disipline of carving, this means one less disgruntled snowboarder sitting in the middle of the run that we have to dig trenches around. :D
  14. What a great time it was Thursday and Friday at Mammoth. Rode with Mr. Sub on his new 4wd, which should have been mine, his buddy Greg, and my long time friend from work who lost his oatmeal because we were going hard to get the freshies on Friday. Mammoth gets tacked out way too fast, so the pressure was on to get it while it was good. With lots new snow, Sunshine Ridge into Grizly on Lincoln Mtn. and the Avalanche shoots were the high light of the trip and perfect for the 4wd, but not quite deep enough for the 4807. No one told Dave that he couldn't carve his new 181 4wd in all the new snow, so he was leaning over some very carve-like angles in the pow and looking quite stylish while doing it---and doing it in the steeps too. Way to go D-Sub!!! It was fun riding with you and Greg. We'll have to do it again soon. Hopefully be up again at the end of the month, maybe then.
  15. Anyone up for non weekend boarding at Mammoth and June. I will be up thurs and friday 16th and 17th. Should be fun with more snow on the way :D .
  16. Sounds like a good trip Erwin. Not as much snow as everyone was talking up??? Osin for Saturday then a great carving session today, what more could you ask for? You in for thurs and friday? I don't have any definite takers as of right now, maybe one guy from worked who has proven to be flaky in times past. Hope the alp worked well. Let me know whats going on.
  17. Paul what size is your foot? Do you have a wide foot or narrow etc? I'm convinced that these are the best boots on the market right now features and benefits wise, and they have recieved the best rider reviews on BOL. If Randy's were black, I would be a little more tempted; nevertheless, I'm still considering. I'm also thinking I might be able to go down a from a 29.5 to a 28.5 or even a 28 with the thermo liner not sure if this is possible though.
  18. Ohhhh, so thats how it is....NOW your willing to give Burton boards another chance, even after ordering a custom Donek---board snob! I guess you really don't have to own a Burton, you can continue to borrow Neil's and mine. :D I'm bumbed I won't be up enjoying all this new snow with you guys. I look forward to the report when you get back. Have fun! GC
  19. Thomas, Tim and Neil, I missed you guys the last couple times I've been up. Would love to get some of that new snow, but will be up the Thurs and Fri the 16th and 17th. Hope your having fun. GC
  20. Wow!!! I just found a 178 in shrik wrap for $250 shipped and I thought this was a fair deal. But $79 for a 168 or a 178 is a screamin deal, albeit 178's are little more rare.
  21. Randy was this part of a package deal that I saw last week or so? My Indys are hurting my feet even with some customization. I may be interested. I'll email you for further discussion. GC
  22. What size are you looking for a trade? Your UP might be right for my 14 year old.

    178 Renn Tiger

    The board is sold.
  24. My 4wd certainly hasn't been dissapointing---a great ride. Hopefully the same will be true about the 186. We'll see this week!
