  1. These boots were purchased in 2002 and have seen generous use over the seasons. They have been well cared for and are ready to ride. Needless to say the liners have been packed out long ago. They are being sold with standard heals (not intec heals as noted in the picture below). I am asking $150 with local (Orange County) pickup, or it may be possible to arrange pick up in Mammoth, otherwise shipping will be extra to buyer.
  2. Hey Aaron, missed you at the demo event in Mammoth last week. Got on skies for the first time in two decades. We need to talk about this two plank thing. Gary
  3. What actually is left? I may have someone interested in the whole enchilada!
  4. Rolf, I will text or call you Sunday. There are a lot of people heading to Mammoth this weekend. In the likelihood that it is crowded, I will be over at June Sunday and Mammoth on Monday. Does anyone have a recent report on coverage at June after this last storm?
  5. Sam are you going to attend the demo days in February? I will be going up the day before and staying the day after to do some carving around the event. Let me know your plans. Email me through my BOL profile Gary REIHB
  6. Seriously considering Sunday and Monday.
  7. I may have a WCR 187 2006 or so that I am could possibly part with. Let me see if I can dig it up and send you some pictures. The board has recently gone MIA, I think my wife stowed it somewhere since it is a duplicate and not in use. GC
  8. Sam will you be attending the demo event at Mammoth in Feb? If so lets make it a point to ride. Maybe I can get my buddy to shoot some video:D
  9. Aaron, it was good to see you at the demo event. I wish I could have seen you railing on the the Rosi's. I have heard good things about the experience 88. Soon as I get some boots, I will take you up on the offer to take your skis for a spin (not literally, I hope) It has been over 15 years since I have been on two planks, so I am looking forward to mixing it up this year. The conditions at summit were perfect for carving with no coverage issues anywhere I rode. I did a few runs with Sam from S.D. (aka slopbunny). Nice turns Sam and I hope to see you again.
  10. Hmmm...$375 sounds like a deal, msrp is $599. I am hopefully going to demo one up at summit on wednesday, that is if the boys at Arbor will let me mount up with plates. SnoBear what more can you tell me about the A-Frame and hard boots?
  11. Hi Tom. I just got back Saturday PM. Sorry I missed you. I didn't see any other carvers. Temps were cold 5 degrees in the morning and 26 degrees at about 2pm. Conditions were hard and fast, but good for carving. Hope to see you more this year. Gary
  12. Will be up Tue thru Thurs. Most likely spending most of the time in June, since it is ski week down here and Pres Day weekend---it could be crowded at Mammoth. Anyone else going up??? GC
  13. Thanks Rolf. Tell Bev hi. My son and his friends were out all day today and said it was great---not so much for carving, but a good pow day. I will be leaving tomorrow. Sounds like there should be a few other SoCal carvers coming up over the weekend as well. Safe travels and have a great time. GC
  14. Hi Guys, It is snowing and blowing today up here today. It is actually coming down pretty hard. Should be good next several days. Still rehabbing from shoulder surgery ten weeks ago and the doc says no boarding for now Hope all is well with all of you. All you coming up this coming weekend---enjoy. Gary
  15. George, I got the news from Erwin today at lunch. Hope your alright and heal quickly. If you need me to stand between Erwin and the Kessler I will do so until you are back on your feet---it is the least I can do for a fallen comrad:D Heal quickly.
  16. Special thanks to Neil for organizing SNES 2010 and to June Mountain for hosting---thanks Carl. The midday groom and the timed GS course were great. What a fun group of people. What other group of sporting enthusiasts are willing to collectively share over 10K of equipment with one another? Not just share, but encourage other riders to give their stuff a try. AND most of the equipment was contemporary high end stuff. The true stoke of the alpine community was experienced at SNES 2010. Another thanks needs to go out to Loc for being event-photo-man extraordinaire. Thanks Loc, and I look forward to seeing all the guys and gals ripping. It was good seeing old friends and meeting new. I hope we can ride again soon. GC
  17. Neil or anyone else, have you reached out to any of the guys up north? Some of the Tahoe and Mt Rose carvers had a good turnout last time.
  18. Sounds like fun, but wifeys b-day. I even brought my gear home in hopes to get a session with you boys---maybe next time. Have fun! Aaron, take care of that knee. GC
  19. Hey Tom, good to hear things are well for you and the growing family. My son went to Toyko and surrounding area. I hope to be up in March, will most likely be over the weekends if I do. Trying to also seek in a trip to Utah during March to visit my daughter at school. Stay in touch and hope to see you in the spring. GC
  20. Wolfman, sorry to have missed you. We just got back late last night. I rode solo most of the time. Last time we got together as a SNES group, Mammoth was less than supportive as indicated by running Neil off the hill with the Demos. On the other hand June embraced the idea. Neil did most of the leg work on that one with little ridding as he managed the demos. With more time to organize and more people to help we could make a fun event for all. Hope to run into you guys soon. GC
  21. Saturday at June provided good carving. I saw Neil on the Gunsmoke rotation making some beee-uuuu-tiful turns. Didn't ride yesterday, but heard mammoth was way crowded. Will ride mammoth this AM and june in the afternoon.
  22. Neil is this date for sure? Either way I have it on my calendar. The demos were nice last time, but seemed like a big pain to manage---only you can speak from experience on this. Carl has some great suggestions, mid day grooming, banquet etc. Limbo contest would also be fun, but we would need to work out something with a stand . Erwin and Tery would have to be banned for this event due to there extreem eurocarve prowess. :D Can you ask Carl about setting up gates for a practice course one of the days? And does anyone have access to subbies that we could use for the event? Provided we can get permission to set a course. Sounds like a fun time with plenty of time to plan. GC
  23. Neil I will see you on Sat. If you are out early on the other days at mammoth maybe we can make some turns then as well. I will text you my number provided yours hasn't changed. GC
  24. Erwin, give me a call next chance you get. We need to get caught up. I want to hear how your sesion was at Bear. GC
  25. Hey Tom how's is life in Japan. My son goes there next week. Have you been able to board much? Not sure about March, I usaually don't know until the last minute before I go, but trying to get more milage out of the pass. Hopefully I will be there.
