  1. Aaron, how are you? I have been thinking about the WTC event. I would like to attend. My daughter is attending school in Utah this year, and I would like to get up there to scare off her boyfriend and do some riding. Are going to attend the WTC? I haven't seen any posts concerning the event. Does it not usually happen in March? Anyway, I hope things are well. See you Tuesday. GC
  2. Post mongers! I am surprised that D-sub has not contributed yet. Your a bunch of sell outs to the all mighty post. LOL Dave, I know your out there, you should also try and make it Tuesday. I should be there with Erwin and Aaron. That is if they will have me after the last comment. Erwin, why is it so easy to take a vacation day for local boarding, and so difficult for a Mammoth trip? No more excuses buddy, especially after your reply to Frenchy. See you Tuesday. GC
  3. Yes, very fun and necessary on crowded days. Happy carves. GC
  4. Sold or still available? Also looking for 158 or 162 for feather weight.
  5. OkOkOk, my mistake, I just thought that Big Canuk meant the BIG board---my bad.:o All of the posts I seen you on before, both selling and buying have been for the big guns. Unfortunately, the 162 was already spoken for with a check on the way. Soon as I receive the check, I will update to original post. If something goes sideways with the deal, I will let you know. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks. GC
  6. Kurt, got the email and replied back. Thanks.
  7. Erwin you rip hard, you could flex it. Give it a try on my other 162 next Tuesday.
  8. Besides the Catek online store, any other ideas where I might find a pair of these bindings, size large?
  9. Sorry guys, but the 163 is actually a 162. I had to check the other WCR that I own, which is identical to the above mention board to confirm---it is actually 162cm. I have corrected this in the original post. The boards were made in the 05/06 season.
  10. I have two WCRs that I would like to sell. Both boards are in excellent condition. The 186 was rarely ridden and is in near new condition. The 163 has a few more hours as distingushed by minor binding marks on top sheet. Both boards have fresh tune and were custom made for 185/190 pound rider. I have been ridding the identical boards @ 215 pounds for the last two seasons and have throughly enjoyed the free carve experience on these WCRs. The approximate specs and asking price are as follows: Prior WCR 186 custom Sold $375.00 obo Radius 14M Waist 19.6 Prior WCR 162 custom Sold $325.00 obo Radius 9.5 Waist 19.5 Buyer to pay shipping.
  11. Neil its already pretty gusty here at the house, which means much more wind on the hill. I will most likely go out, but will make it early to get a couple of hours with less people. If there is a lot of wind I will probably stay on Canyon side. Let me know when you will riding this AM and I will try and find you.
  12. Loc: This is supposed to be a pretty radical store. The unofficial murmur on the hill today is 100 mph winds, 10 feet of snow and possibly the biggest storm in 50 years. Mammoth city left us a phone message to be ready for possible power outages and to have 72 hours of supplies on hand. Chances are if this storm is a big as they say, 395 could be a problem, so check with the CHP for closures. Neil: I got out around 10 am so needless to say I was in the middle of all the people. Rode 8 and 5 later in the afternoon and still couldn't get around the crowds. Had to trade my 187 in for a shorter board after a few close calls. I will be out early tomorrow, let me know where your going to be. If your getting to the hill later and need a place to park, you can use our drive way, just let me know before.
  13. Rode Mammoth new years day. Rode solo and saw no other carvers. Conditions were good for carving, blue bird skies, medium crowds, and no wind. Some rocks on transitional runs from mid mountain to Canyon. Rode Stump, ridge of 5, Roller coster, and ridge of 8. Neil: if your going to ride mammoth this morning, I will be on ridge of 5 or Stump, or possibly on Canyon side, give me a call or text me as to where you might be ridding.
  14. I hope your right about the crowds. All of the schools are off here for that week, which usually means more people in the Easter Sierra. So long as June is ridable I can deal with Mammoth on a limited basis if needed. See you there. GC
  15. Neil, how about that Tinkler??? I will most likely be coming up early on the 1st and staying till the 4th. Hope to make some turns with you and any other fellow carvers. Not too hip on the Mammoth crowd scene, so maybe riding Mammoth in the early AM and then spending time over at June if the coverage is good. Thats the plan for now.
  16. Hey Cristan, it looks like I am going to miss you this time. I should be heading up early new years and staying for several days if all goes well at work. Neil, are you going to be up the week of the 1st?
  17. It's not that I am ignoring you Dave, it just that when I ride with you, you rip so hard it makes me look bad----maybe I am intimidated ;) Seriously, your welcome at my camp fire anytime. Also, from one season to the next, I don't know if you going to be relocating to Colorado, Europe, Oregon, or stay in SoCal. So where are you? January 17th we should be going up locally or maybe a day trip to Mammoth, and your welcome to come. Neil, you should try to come as well. How have you been? Did you spend much of your summer in Mammoth? Look forward to riding you guys. Keep in touch. GC
  18. Nice! It looked like the conditions were hard and hooking up.
  19. Hey Aaron, Erwin and I are planning a day trip on Jan 17th. I think its a Wednesday. We will either leave Tuesday night, stay at my place that night, and ride Mammoth Wednesday, or go up locally. Either way you should plan to come along. Also, I would like to attend the WTC this year. Are you planning on going? GC
  20. Nothing like a little snow to get everyone posting. Hello to Neil, Thomas, and Christian. Hope all is well with you boys. Look forward to seeing up on the hill and making some turns soon :) See ya. GC
  21. Hi guys, hows it going? Let me know how it is if you ride.
  22. Boards reduced. Need to make way for new equipment.
  23. You too, your always welcome. Is that your new girlfriend?
  24. Hey Aaron, how's the ankle? I will be heading up to Mammoth on Tues with my fam, and will be there thru Friday or Sat. Your welcome to come join us at the house, there is plenty of room for you and your pops or another person. Hope all is well. GC ps. I'm ready to make you a deal on the 186---no shippping since your in the area!
  25. Neil please sacrifice one of your Madds to the Mammoth snow gods. That new high output pellet burning stove should do the trick. The national weather service has little to nothing comming in this next week. Hope they're wrong. We should try and make some turns with Cristan since we'll all be up. Keep me posted on the conditions. GC
