  2. I resemble that remark! (and I'm a 195# Albert )
  3. But this morning's face shots look to be in about two feet of da kine! I start hiking again after April 25th apparently.
  4. "ice piranha" ? But "costed" ain't right webster's or not
  5. of the p-tex toe blocks? Have you compromised it with the the scoring? This looks promising!
  6. We're enjoying your literary musings but you've got to zip that parka up man. It only flaps when its loose and speed begs tightness. Get tight, get hard. You don't need to ditch the fatbob. Search the forum to see how to make a really neat overhead lamp out of it!
  7. 1989 Kemper Apex 170 with Emerys and San Marcos racing boots purchased off the circuit from Carvin' Karl himself.
  8. They make the rockin' world go round!" Awesome. Thanks Skatha! You made my day, that worked on my Mac. :)
  9. Did you just see that run 1 for the gold/silver? Photo finish of 2/100's!!!!!
  10. With all the good vibes you've brought to this forum I trust you're in for an easy quick recovery
  11. Both my team fp's have a series of other numbers inked on the topsheet in between bindings near the sidewall. Don't know what they mean though. Not sure about race stock in a 73 either.
  12. 1) one of each 2)hard cast for 6-8 weeks is all 3)Both end of the season deals but I was crutchless in a coupla months, 80% in 3-4 months and all better in maybe 8. Honestly a spiral heals stronger than before the break. My first break I was in my late 20's and I bounced right back. The second time in my late 30's left me with a little loss of motion in the ankle, be sure to do the PT!
  13. A tib/fib can spiral down into the ankle knob. Count on it. I've done it twice. In hard boots.
  14. With all the help you'll find here you will want to change your name to 2stoked! Get on the classifieds and get some not so new gear. Boots, bindings, board can be had for less than 3 bills if you're not into the Burton hatin' thing (check Hobie's current setup now for $200!! if you're a 10.5 boot; ask about those bindings) . A little more will get you a glass classic (think 3-6 yr old Coiler, Prior or Donek) cause everyone seems to be ditchin' glass for metal. Look at Raichle SB boots and maybe Burton raceplates or F2's but be sure to search here to hear about many people's dislikes of these not so costly ,functional choices. Also read some of Jack's excercises; you can work on them with your current setup. You're carving a line already so come on over!
  15. "Cool, a McDonald's in the Olympic village, I'm so going there every morning." Then after an appropriate pause,"NOT!"
  16. getting them on getting them off walking with red BTS But when I'm riding:biggthump "Don't tug on trench's cape"
  17. I assume radial abrasion is the same as linear?
  18. by comparing static loads on a consistent grade thereby eliminating "rider interface"?
  19. Although a great exercise, it is really difficult to mirror someone's track as well as you have in that last pic! (Even if you're both riding the same board those are two amazing shots; before and after)
  20. Lots of coffee on my shirt!:lol::lol:
