I've been riding the Insano's for a few years now, very stiff and I concur with the difficult ingress/egress, I haven't noticed durability concerns though. The BOA is quite nice too.

Why can't hardboot manufacturers just make the soles the same as ski boots? Can bails just be made for ski boots? Wouldn't that be easier?

How's Whistler currently? My GF and I are heading to visit her brother in Van the first week of March, we'd like to do a few days at Whistler, so how are conditions? Worthwile or should I forget about it?
