  1. The latest tracking update shows that the boots are in the US, and with an expected delivery of tomorrow. They show as being at JFK airport on the 8th.
  2. TD1's: http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?40414-Bomber-TD1 TD2's: http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?40413-Bomber-TD2s TD3 SW's: http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?40412-TD3-Sidewinders
  3. So the Snow Pro's have 3 degrees of canting, and I added some heel lift when I installed them. Did some carpet riding and I'm happy.
  4. I'd like a 170 or longer if an SL board, or a 175+ for a GS board, longer sidecut would be ok too. I have seen the 169, but I'm 180lbs without boots, armour and outerwear on so I'm not sure where I'd be on a board with a 200 max weight recommended. It'll still be a little while before I pick anything up, but the Donek Demo sale has a few interesting boards for $660 too.
  5. I should get the boots and bindings in my possession sometime today, the Canada Post site says out for delivery. I'm not sure about any spacers yet though. I picked up a Morrow Indy 166 last year for cheap, it's the opposite of a damp board, I might try and look for something more damp/longer/faster before the 24h of Tremblant in December, unless someones got a GS board I could borrow for a few days. (Holy comma splices Batman!) My girldfriend and I are planning a trip to Whistler in early April for a wedding, so if I don't get a board before then, I'm considering a Prior. We'll be there for a week, and I want to be on the snow for 5 days.
  6. I got the Sublime pass for Tremblant late last season for $379, you can still get one now for $399 I think. You can go most days but Christmas to New Years, a weekend in February and a week in March, but you get discounts for all those days too. I've also got some UPZ boots and Snowpro bindings which should arrive next week that I'm excited to try out.
  7. Send me an email, I bought the boots from this ad last year; http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?38839-Boardercross-amp-alpine-snowboards-bindings-amp-boots They are too big for me, I'm a 27.0.
  8. I've got some Oxygen Krypton 01's with a 28-28.5 shell size if you're interested.
  9. I should specify, in order to get the aforementioned boots to work with plate bindings, what would need to be done?
  10. How much work is it to get these to work with plate bindings? Anything different that the snowboard specific UPZ/Deeluxes?
  11. I have been using a Leatt Adventure vest for the past two seasons, I've cracked a few ribs, and I found this one to offer the best rib protection from my own elbows. http://www.leatt-brace.com/index.php/choose-your-sport/snowmobiling/leatt-body-vest-adventure
  12. A friend and I are staying here two weeks after the Pureboarding event; http://www.hotels.com/hotel/details.html?hotelId=275149&destinationId=1707394&searchViewType=LIST&validate=true&previousDateful=true&destination=Cote+Nord+Tremblant%2C+Lac-Superieur%2C+Canada&arrivalDate=02%2F08%2F2013&departureDate=02%2F10%2F2013&roomno=1&rooms%5B0%5D.numberOfAdults=2&children%5B0%5D=0&asaReport=Hotel+Details%3A%3ANoSuggest&searchParams.landmark=&queryFormState=CLOSED&searchParams.needPossibleResults=true&activeTab=DESTINATION&page=1
  13. Here's one; $203 of 1989 dollars would be worth:$374.31 in 2012 $203 of 2012 dollars would be worth$109.55 in 1989 LOL!
  14. I had to pass on the proton right now, I spent the money on a condo at tremblant next weekend instead. So no board or bindings yet. I'll send you an email with my email address Ian. Thanks everyone for the help!
  15. So I've now got some boots to use, and can meet downtown for rides. So if the ride offer still stands, and someone has a board I could use I'll be happy to go and learn!
  16. I'm not sure I can make it to Vorlage (I'm carless), but I am curious about them... [smartass]Would you mean -20- temps? -20+ would be warmer, lol [/smartass]
  17. So I'm getting that Proton 168 tomorrow, but I'm having a hard time finding specs for it. Are they still made by Atomic? Thanks Hilux, I'll give them a call tonight regarding the boots.
  18. Between me and my friends who can ride at a faster pace with a higher skill level than the others, I'm the only snowboarder. I've been contemplating on switching to skis, but I like my ACL's and MCL's as they are. My doctor (a sports medecine guy, in his 50's) is also a snowboarder for the same reason.
  19. Interested in the boots, email sent through your kijiji ad.
