  1. Mario was slayin' the Virus today. Great to see his riding change to Much, Much Better. AC was getting better by the end of the day. Ink
  2. Mono was KILLIN' it today! What a blast to watch. He even had a few younger riders say how cool/crazy it looked. I was impressed. Ink
  3. The deckers will be good for you. I say go for it. Ink
  4. We will try to make it out, ankle should work in HBs definately not in SBs, possibly with KarverKai in toe(side). DT, rest it up for the bike season. Snowboarding is so last season :) AC, Glad I could accomodate you and the Salesman. I do have some discount coupons if I am there, also pass holders can buy a ticket on their passes at a discount. Get out on the WCR for more carving practice in the AM when conditions are firm then switch to D1 when snow softens. Ink
  5. It is a pretty good possibility that Concussed and I will be there however I am not sure how much riding I can do since I am still nursing my ankle from last weekends mishap. Hopefully we will make it and my ankle won't hurt too much in HBs. Would love to meet up with you Kimo if we go. Ink
  6. Concussed and KarverKai may ride Saturday. I am going to rest the ankle a little longer so that I don't re-injure it too quickly. Concussed or I will let you know later in the week. Ink
  7. Hey reemus, where you bin ridin' lately? We missed you in Monarch. Go see JD's new vid for a bum shot :) Ink
  8. Looks like you all had a lot of fun ripping in so so conditions. JD, smooth and powerful, just like I remember. Looks good brotha. Ink
  9. AC, Glad I was able to get the D1 to you in time for you to play on it. I WHACKED a tree with my 200 and it is now wall art. :( How are the toesides coming on the WCR? Ink
  10. Thanks for the report Phil. It is good to see the US riders gettin' some hardware to bring home. Great job Justin and Michelle! Keep the momentum rollin' into the next one. Ink (Derek Runes)
  11. Do these come with the limited edition "Boot Fit By Larry" Sticka kit? Ink
  12. jcaple Welcome to BOL. I have ridden the 6' D1+ and was able to carve it very well. I set my stance angles at 34f 28r and about 50cm wide and liked the board a lot. Center your stance on the inserts for an effective position over the side cut. It is a fun board to say the least, however is much more fun in powder due to the shape than on a groomer. That said is does carve well but I wouldn't want to use it for my dedicated carver. With the short effective edge and tighter SCR it isn't as good on the groomers as an alpine board. Learn what you can on it and get yourself an alpine board as soon as you can. I think you will be happy with the board but will be happier carving on an alpine board once you learn how. If you can meet up and ride with others in the UK who have been carving for a while. You will learn quicker if you have someone who can see what you are doing and comment on it to you in person and be able to give you the visual of seeing those comments in action. Have fun, Ink

Kirtap, We (DT, Big Mario and I) ride Loveland the majority of the time on weekends and I can't remember much difference in crowds during spring break time from any other time. We will get some out of towners but not as much as the larger destination resorts. It is also a wide open resort so crowd dispersal is very good. Eldora can get a bit crowded since it isn't far from boulder and the kiddies can take RTD to the hill during time off. Good luck and if you come to Loveland during the weekends post it so that we will know to look for you. Ink
  14. Yes to the mtn dew. Last year they timed the first run and let us take a second for fun so plan on making the first one count. Ink
  15. For any of you interested in getting a very loose taste of what it is like in a race course the Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge is happening at Loveland this Saturday the 15th. The event is free with giveaways and a ton of caffine hyped up kids. There should be a highly contested event between Mario(virus) and Tony(rossi). Tony will also be comparing times to Miss Kate for the family trophy. If you win your class you will receive a lift ticket to the finals in Steamboat. Last year winners also received $50 gift certificate to King Soopers/Krogers. After the race we can all rip the mountain apart much like the Lovey Carve Session. Ink
  16. All Boards Sports - Bola has some.
  17. Nice one Rat! How is it going up in Canada? I haven't seen you in years. CO is still fun and I have a kid who is amost 5yrs old. Ink (Derek Runes)
  18. Poor girl...I mean, she must be one good looking baby. Congrats bro! SG good. It is a little tough in the AM getting used to the 18.5m scr but once I do it is all good. I have nothing for hand me downs. The 159 rossi that Tony is on in the vid was mine, Concussed got my 158 Hot Blast, and Big Mario just kicked down his 179 Donek FCII to me since he picked up the Vampire Virus. The FCII is a fun board with the long effective edge and 11.2 scr. She'll swing around a pole in a heartbeat. I still have the last couple of BS boards that I was on when you were out, 184 and 178. The 178 is fun but the 184 is mega stiff. Rode it for 2 runs last year and decide it was now "art". Have fun at ECES! Aloha, Ink
  19. Deere, You come out west next yeaa you betta let me know in advance so I can schedule time out of the work place! Jackson, CO, UT, we are talkin' bout goin' some wheres next yeaa and I would love to meet up whitcha and ride. I tried to get Reamus to join us in Monarch this past weekend but neva saw him. Check the vid, it was wicked pissa! Sunday had a bunch of new snow to test a Dupraz 6'. Fun board. How's the offspring treatin' you, ya tired bro? Ink
  20. Concussed is Janet aka TheWifey Tony posts as t.stoughton Good riding R2C. It looks like you are really liking the new board. Ink
  21. DOH!!! The printer is going so I am working. :) Anyway, I don't want to be on here while at home since TheWifey and KarverKai are around. Ink
  22. First off, Tom, Thanks for being such a great host showing us around your mountain and setting up plans for dinner. The restaurants where great and the company was fantastic. I am glad that Lisa and Henry were able to join us. Thanks for the vid also. :) Great meeting and riding with everyone. Newcarver and R2Carve, let us know when you will be around our area so that we can meet up again. DT and Shelly, I'm glad that you and the dogs are all doing OK. Sucks though. :( Mario, thanks for the new deck! It now has a sharp edge on it and is ready for some more fun times. Concussed, thanks for a fun weekend. Bola, the Dupraz are a blast to ride. We rode groom and crud on Saturday, a bunch of pow on Sunday. For anyone thinking about these boards, GET ONE or two. Thank you Bola for letting me demo them. Ink
  23. Good to hear AC, You are more than welcome to join us anytime we are out. This weekend we will not be at Lovey, we are all going to Monarch. Keep working on your technique and it will come together for you and you will be railin' turns soon. You will definately get better riding with folks who are better than you and preferably able to correct mistakes in technique before they become ingrained as bad habits. Ink
  24. Shelly's new coiler just showed up? She is going to have fun on it in Monarch. New, metal, pretty...she is one lucky girl. Except for the D.T. part. :) I can't wait to leave work early tomorrow. Ink
  25. One of the biggest favors you can do for yourself would be to hook up with Mort Nyberg, head coach for the Squaw Valley Snowboard Team. Mort is a really good coach and knows a lot about equipment and riding in your area and events taking place. You have probably seen him at events in your area if you have already started racing. Ink
