  1. Dave, Not sure what day I may be up next week. FillipinoFlyer will be in town and I haven't seen him in quite a few years so we are trying to get a day on hill. I will post here if it happens to be Wednesday. Ink
  2. cfj, Good to finally meet you and glad to see you are able to get on the hill. Take it slow and your confidence in that appendage will come up. Welcome back. Thor, Mmmmmm, Lung cookies. :( Ink
  3. Lovey is doing fantastic right now. As of this AM: 116" total snow with a 49" base and most of the mtn open. Only the ridge needs to open to be complete. Ink
  4. Hopefully my whole clan will be out Sat and I am trying to attend on Sun. Think snow! Ink
  5. Nice to hear MD. Big, Our darkside is still a bit lighter than Mono's dark side. ie: skwal, mono... Ink
  6. The Dalbellos are copies, Full Tilt purchased the original molds, did extensive research on the old materials to actually make them so they are Flexons. When my AF 700s let go I will be going to the Full Tilt version of this boot. Flexons have always been my favorite for many years. I went to the AF's to try Intec step-in and never purchased the heels or receivers. My AF's are more than twice the weight of the Flexons. Ink
  7. So MD, Is the MLY mounted like a snowboard or some other contraption that you came up with to keep you on the fringe of evolution? Another 6" today may not be the best to take out the MLY. Have Fun!! Ink
  8. May have been some of the Steamboat team. I saw a bunch of their riders wearing the Dalbello Kryptons at the RTTC. Ink
  9. I really dislike you all right now. :) AC, Good to have you back. I had noticed that you dropped off. LLR, Mono, we will ride again soon. Ink
  10. Snowcoach is one of the coaches for Steamboat Winter Sports Club, BX coach if I recall correctly. I met him at the RTTC in Copper. Cool guy. Ink
  11. I had the Allegiance before switching to the Malamute. It is a nice boot. I loved the dual zone boa system for dialing in your perfect feel and yes it did feel fairly stiff in the shop. The boot is designed to flex more like a ski/SB boot in that the material doesn't deform around the ankle, the upper cuff hinges over the bottom by design. Most boots offer some of their stiffness from material deformation(sideways buldging) around the ankle. After riding it I didn't think it was as stiff because of the smooth flexing design, therefore the switch to Malamutes. Ink
  12. Jen, Saw SP at the RTTC in Copper. Where were you? Fun event to spectate since I don't race any more. Ink (Derek R)
  13. I think late 90's. All tankers are schweet! That is definately a keeper and the 192's are a blast to ride and no longer available. Ink
  14. Don't worry about the specs now, just get on it and ride it. If you like the board get the specs later so that you know what to look for in a new board to replace that one when it lets go. Ink
  15. It looks like KarverKai and I will be at the Valley on Friday. Hopefully I will make it our on Sunday also. Ink
  16. Nice vids Dan. Thanks for shooting and posting those. Ink
  17. I'm in the C to C sharp side of edge beveling. I generally run .5* base and 3* side bevels. Back when I was racing I would sometimes change angles nearer to the nose and tails for different effects while staying with the .5/3* under the feet. This would keep the edge sharp C to C but would allow it to be feathered differently depending on conditions and what I wanted the board to do. My boards still track on flats just fine. Ink
  18. Here is the board graphics that Concussed wanted in memory of DragonFlyJones. She came up with the concept, designed it, and I printed and laminated it at work. I think it came out quite well. No primer or edge sealing have been used and it was installed last season. There are a couple small edge spots that lifted that I trimmed but all is doing well.
  19. Same stuff, works well. :) You may want to ride a bit first to see how it holds up. If it starts peeling up, trim and seal. Ink
  20. I use malamutes and like them. I heard that Driver X are quite stiff also. Ink
  21. Phil, Unfortunately I don't know of any other primers for this application. Just make sure that you clean the board very well with denatured alcohol. DA will evaporate off very quickly and not leave any residue. Good luck and post picks when done. I'll try to get picks of Concussed's board posted. Ink
  22. It was fun to watch Alexa ripping up the courses. She was running away from her competitors on the PSL. Ink
  23. I hope everything works out with WF for you and your family. Come down any time you can and I am sure you will have someone to ride with. Ink
