  1. Ck, Like YYZ said. I still love riding Hot Blasts. I will need to try out D.T.'s and Big Mario's new to them blasts. Ink
  2. B-Line - CO - rip off of Never Summer CO Composites XXX - also made accessories Ink
  3. Come to Lovey at that time. The snow will be marginally better being higher altitude and we are a lot of fun. Keep us posted. Maybe we can even get Big Mario to fire up the grill :)
  4. Tex, During spring break time you will be able to ride any mountain in CO that you choose. We usually get a lot of snow in March and April so you will pretty much have your choice of what conditions you would like to ride and where. Take your pick then come join us at Lovey for a day. Ink
  5. Forgot all about Snowtech. I remember riding with Bob Klein when he rode for Snowtech. Ink
  6. I believe Steve Klassen made/makes Steepwater Hyper - CO Skosh Yellow Bus - from Montana? Secret Team - CO Naked - Boulder - Dave Dowd rode for them Hyper - CO Blue - CO - who ever started Aggression started Blue Glissade - not sure if they are still building All for now, more will come Ink
  7. The racers are running in conjunction with vist or hangl but that has nothing to do with the cool, soon to be new Bomber stuff. Ink
  8. new challenge. If you already have the equipment then go for it. Like the others said, it will improve your softie riding. On days that it is hard out you will end up carving all over while the jibbers are inside icing their knees and butts from bad landings. And you will have a big grin on your face. Ink
  9. I will be out 1 day, not sure which yet but probably Sat. Big Mario, would you like to try one of my BS boards? I can swing it by tomorrow so that you can set it up if you would like. Lemme know. Ink
  10. I'm checking to see if a friend still has contact with Wayne and if he is still making boards. I'll let you know if I find out anything. Ink
  11. To my knowledge what the racers are testing is in the prototype stage for future use. I was talking with Fin about it at the Copper RTTC and it will in fact open up his market to the racers. Even women and kids who are on them are giving rave reviews. Ink
  12. You are right. Thanks for correcting me. :) How did the event go for you Thayer? Ink
  13. +1 for getting rid of those raichles. I used to race in them for a short amount of time, they don't work well for snowboarding. If you are going to use ski boots then us the original flexons with the softer tongue. I too would recommend getting some snowboard hardboots to make learning more enjoyable. Yes, decrease the gap between the toe lever and the top of your boot. Turning the screw in a few turns should do the trick. Ink
  14. Here you go Dave http://www.copperseries.com/results.htm Ink
  15. Big M, I think you should test my 178 BS with the snowflake graphics. I rode it pretty well but with your weight it may just be the ticket. 14m scr. Let me know if you want to check it out. I won't be up till Sunday next weekend but I can drop it off at your place if you would like. Ink
  16. I haven't heard dates yet and now that Bola is out of the country it will be a little bit before talks resume. So to answer your question no dates yet. Mario may know a bit more. Definately work to set up the Sol Vista gig. We can easily get enough people to make that worth while even if some are skiers. And it would be a blast. Ink
  17. Thor, It looks like FilipinoFlyer and I will be at Lovey on Friday. If I had more time I would consider going to ride with you guys but fatherly duties in am and pm have priority. Have fun over there. Ink
  18. Dave, It is looking like I will be out Friday. My friend will be out of meetings that day so we will be able to meet up and ride together. It has been many years since I last saw him so I will be going that route. We'll ride another day sometime in the future though. Ink
  19. Gecko, If they did hold an SG, Ian Price and Mark Fawcett would both probably come out of retirement to clean house on everyone. If memory serves me well, and it may not, those two were the only winners of the SG at the US Open before alpine got the axe from that event. I remember at one of them Ian burned a hole in his glove and blistered his hand after a brief hand touch to the snow on a heelside turn on his winning run. Ink
  20. There is a reason he is called "Big Mario". He is not the svelt little butterfly he leads you all to believe he is. He should be on some of the old stiff race stock we rode in the early 90's. :) BTW Big, I have a couple of BS boards or my Secret Team you can borrow. I'm quite sure you can flex them. Well, maybe not the Secret Team. Ink
  21. I was at the event watching and Jasey is one of if not the most exciting rider to watch. He recovers mistakes that would put most racers out of the event and he does it with such beautiful moves like that EC. Earlier in the rounds he "aired" out a toe side landing in an EC and made the next gate. His body was horizontal to the hill and about 2' off. He was able to still go fast enough to beat his opponent and make it to the finals. And to top it all off he is a very cool, nice guy. Way to go Jasey! Ink
  22. OVR, I have Mario's old Gold Bling Bling FCII that you rode last time out. You can ride a familiar board if you would like to ride it again. I also have a bunch of stiff old raceboards if you feel like getting beat up. Definately come out. Ink Oh yeah, sorry again about your breakup BM but glad you are ok. See you next weekend. :)
  23. Dave, Not sure what day I may be up next week. FillipinoFlyer will be in town and I haven't seen him in quite a few years so we are trying to get a day on hill. I will post here if it happens to be Wednesday. Ink
  24. cfj, Good to finally meet you and glad to see you are able to get on the hill. Take it slow and your confidence in that appendage will come up. Welcome back. Thor, Mmmmmm, Lung cookies. :( Ink
  25. Lovey is doing fantastic right now. As of this AM: 116" total snow with a 49" base and most of the mtn open. Only the ridge needs to open to be complete. Ink
