Hi N
I will leave others to discuss the actual body mechanics but I was facing issues last season and started this thread, which has a lot of good advice and insights into the process:
Not sure why the embedded link is showing skiing
As is typical with my life, as I prepare to be away for a week the world compresses everything into a few days and leaves little room to stoke in comfort - hopefully I get to the airport on time
been looking forward to this trip for 4 years!!
Awesome graphics - it looks like the wait for the it was worth it. Where did you get the picture of my truck from?
Now that you have 2 F2 163s are you going to mount one on each foot and ski on them (twice as fast)?
@bspwas telling me that she had an international racing coach for 6 hours a day for 2 weeks in Italy: EU50 PER DAY!!
Her previous EXPENSIVE coach was EU 150 per day
Was on first run at Wawa today - perfect! Hero groom on cold snow. Best carving and conditions this year so far.
They have blown a LOT of snow in the last few days and coverage is almost complete.
Rode with @PointBreak and ski pole carver - unfortunately I don't know his handle.
Wondering if part of the poor experience on the short board (all other things ignored) isn't because of these angles - most references to softboot carving angles stop way short of that to engage edges effectively.
Confronted by a snowboarder carrying my contra towards the lift: "No way duuude! You are going downhill!"
Last night as my daughter finished a run on softies: "Dad! I carved, I really carved!"
This may be a crazy question but based on the fact that you mentioned you rode the Tanker with soft boots, were you on soft boots on the Nidecker with 60-57 angles? What angles do you use on the Tanker?
Welcome @Germans DontLaugh
You will receive more than enough help here so i thought I would segue to your avatar handle: clearly you know that a German joke is no laughing matter.
