Palmer plates could work too, but the fit is way too sloppy for my liking even when clamped under bindings - they would need some locator bushes made up to secure.
That could work, but you would have to drill a bigger hole(s) in the center disk as the sliding inserts in the channel are too big to allow the disk to seat properly in the base plate.
Sorry should have been more specific - Phil is a well respected member here. He last posted in another topic - just click his profile to message him direct
I believe the guys at Endeavour snowboards incorporate the channel in some of their boards - might be easier to get some info from them rather than Burton. PhilW has modified plates on channel mounts so he will have some info too.
Slopestar have you had a chance to give that wide Incline a workout yet? Softboot carve decks seem quite the topic recently and this is surely a contender.
Thank you for the update. I have spoken with Charlie a couple of times over this forum and he is a real great guy - please pass on my best wishes to him for a speedy recovery.
Hope to catch up with him for a session in the future.
Hmm ok. Be great to know more, but let me think about it - will let you know if I'm in ASAP.
No drama if you sell it on it the mean time. Appreciate the quick reply RJ.
OK. Had a similar issue with M29s (T700) - found removing toe tread rubber gave me just enough clearance, so I just sanded it down underneath & now all good. May be worth a try with yours
Cheers
Interesting point - if we ignore wear on the base and edges, I'm guessing the core may become the limiting factor; once it starts to break down the loads on the skin increase?
