  1. I think this is the exact board you're looking for.
  2. Sure, how about: A Kessler The Ride An SG Free Solo An Oxess Freeride
  3. Right. I had a pair 10 years ago and they were great. I just bought this season's pair because I got a decent deal. Hope they hold up.
  4. I ride Palau. Love them. Alone Dual Fit for my Driver X, Alpine Power Fit Soft for my partner's Supreme and Overlap Hard for my UPZ. The Palau '141' I think is a naming scheme bomber came up with. Nothing ever called a 141 made by Palau. Ivan at carver.si stocks them. He's a great guy. Don't hesitate to order from him. I've ordered through him for years, even when bomber was up and running. Better prices, faster communication, bigger range, more knowledgeable.
  5. What about the new F2 Eliminator boots? Anyone tried? http://anyflip.com/vhkh/uyhc
  6. What about Nidecker Carbon? Anyone using these? Anyone using Malamutes these days? It used to be either these for Driver X, the last time i rode softboots 10 or so years ago. I remember the Malamutes were a bit wider fitting. Sucks to hear about Driver X quality issues, though. Ugh.
  7. Couldn't help myself.
  8. Woooops! Silly me! Apologies. There is a K171 in the FS section at the moment btw...
  9. I had a pair of Drake Podium about 10 years ago, I'm sure they have changed a lot since then. I rode them on my Salomon Burner. They were stiff and responsive sure, but at the time there were a lot of good things said regarding the Nidecker 900 Carbon, so I upgraded. The Nidecker I felt was better in all respects, in particular dampening and the straps were WAY BETTER. Now I'm going to use Flow NX2-GT. For the unamimous good reviews and convenience. Plus they're the softboot carve binding of choice at home in Japan. Also, JJA does make a plate. Most connected to the board in the biz (imo).
  10. What %age of days would you take it out?
  11. Difference between the R-One and B-One? Considering this..
  12. Is this longboard good for a beginner wanting to get into longboarding?
  13. Just call Heinz! 164 SL is waiting for you..
  14. Agree. One of my favourite. Have you tried the SG Full Carve 170? Probably my all time favourite serial board.
  15. Provided hell and heaven are also both in some sort of orbit to make that possible...
  16. Wew I've got to hit up Korea at some point.
  17. How do you like the 168? I always viewed mine as a "long" SL board if that makes sense. Just like how the Full Carve 170 is a "short" GS board.
  18. I think a second hand set of UPZ boots could work well, add in some Palau liners and bam, you got yourself a stew.
  19. Interesting. I wonder if front squats would facilitate something similar in this regard.
  20. BTW- the trick to putting them on is to put them on inside out and upside down, then fold the bottom up over your knee so the long johns don't bunch up :)
  21. I wear these in the gym also, after I was getting extreme tight glutes, I just thought I'd give them a shot. Worked well surprisingly for whatever reason. That was when I was a serious athlete, though. But old habbits die hard... https://www.jackalsgym.com/product/rehband-7380-original-blue-warm-pants/
