  1. HR bought one a few years back. I don't think he used the heating pad but I do know the bag itself fell apart after a few months. The dimensions were not ideal for the snowboarding gear. He uses a Energia Pura bag now but he says it is only good until B size, otherwise the bag is too small for bigger boots.
  2. Love this new video posted today by Nevin... Great for the general population to catch a glimpse of the sport. https://www.facebook.com/mountainslope.ch/videos/336765650223785/
  3. Marsupio adjustable board sleeves ... https://mountainslope.ch/
  4. Yes! Recent brands are Black Pearl and I think Amicss....
  5. Don't forget last years April Fool's announcement Guess that didn't happen! Thank goodness https://whitelines.com/archive/news/burton-announces-new-hard-snowboard-boot-system.html
  6. Hi there! I made this account long before the start of making yellow boots and once we started, I did talk to bomber (on more than one occassion here in forum and on the telephone) At one point I did ask if I could post in the manufacturer area, where the reply was a pretty stern NO. I personally didn't want to make a new account here just for "the company" as I have always enjoyed writing here as me. Apologies to others who don't agree. And many thanks to the many kind comments. Greetings Jennifer
  7. Thanks a lot for your support Buell! We've had a lot of questions regarding settings and we finally have that info up there for people to take a look at and try for themselves. Plus, it's great to have constructive feedback from you guys in the forum. We've gotten a lot of great tips and learned a lot from the professional athletes and the freecarvers alike. We're really grateful for help we've gotten from you.
  8. I'm sorry, I wasn't aware the poor exchange rate was our fault. I've been reading your rude comments since before we even started our boot project and I have yet to ever see any positive or helpful comments coming from you. Not even one. So if you do have one somewhere in the archives, please feel free to share the link below. This "MFG" has not seen received a single penny, cent or rappen at any point during this project so if you feel our boots are too expensive, I'll be more than happy to mail you a bill for our new moulds and next years production. Plus, Giving people information to our recommended settings surely isn't against bomber policy and since we've already gotten very helpful feedback and support from other forum riders. BTW, Your constant slander towards our boot project and overall efforts are sad to say the least. It makes you sound like a grumpy and bitter person. I have no idea how you think you are helping the sport or freecarving sector at all with all the useful tips and info you dish out.
  9. Thanks Yamifumi. I'll take a look at it with hubby
  10. That's correct. The hardboot market is quite new in Asia and the market is exploding there right now as they discover hardboot freecarving and racing for the first time. Most of our first year production went to the Asian market and there are new extreme carving groups popping up in Japan, China and Korea. It's very exciting! I was sent a photo of the Chinese national team awhile back. It's really looking great over there! I'm pretty sure the Olympics in Korea helped the market there a lot too!
  11. Hello everyone! I wanted to inform you of our new website, which is finally finished and was uploaded last night. https://www.mountain-slope.com/ Under the category of .951 "Bindung und Schuh Einstellgung" (Binding and boot settings) we have our recommended setup. Enjoy! Greetings from Switzerland ... Jennifer
  12. The Surefoot liners look really great! I've never heard of them but if you do decide to go with them, please make sure the liner tongue is higher than the tongue of the .951 shell
  13. We used to play that market while waiting for someone else to make new boots ... I honestly haven't check the market since we sold our last ones 950s for about 3,500€ approx. 2 years ago Smashing the yellow boot black market!
  14. This is correct. The newer version of Grilamid is even less effected by temperature changes than the older boots.
  15. No worries! We will eventually make a step in (not Intec) binding
  16. Do you have any other contacts or stores who are interested? Please don't forget that the boots have only been on the market since October so our network isn't very big yet.
  17. Hey guys! Very interesting thread to read. Thanks for the interest in our boots. The standard boot is Grilamid and has 100 stiffness tongue and 100 stiffness shell. The World Cup version is also Grilamid but 120 stiffness tongue and 120 stiffness shell. We originally thought the ladies would prefer the 100 stiffness, but to our surprise, they also prefered the 120 stiffness World Cup version. Spring stiffness is: softest green, blue, red, yellow hardest... For Standard you get blue(in box)/red long and for World Cup you get red/yellow(in box) Hopefully this helps. Greetings Jennifer
  18. Dear Yamifumi, Thanks for the kind write up. Where did you E-mail us? We'll be happy to send you extra parts if you want some. Greetings Jennifer
  19. We're extremely happy with the results! As you can imagine, it is really difficult for top riders to go and change their material before a huge event like the Olympic games. Many top riders stuck with the material they normally use, while others took the chance and tried our boots. This season, there are athletes in front who've never been there before and others who are now no where to be seen. We knew this would be an exciting Olympics for this very reason. I can't imagine anything better for the sport than Ester Ledecka winning. The fact that she won gold in both skiing and snowboarding will be talked about for years! Also, the fact that Germany won Silver - Selina Joerg & Bronze - Ramona Hofmeister (Point.951) is fantastic as well because Germany has amazing sports coverage all over Europe. Lee Sangho getting silver (with Point.951) is wonderful too since it is always a huge deal when the hosting country wins a medal in any specific sport. And don't forget Zan Kosir with the Point.950 boots!
  20. Thanks so much for the compliment! Our network is still pretty small. We have All Board Sports in the USA and Patrik Gaudet in Quebec, Canada. You can also order directly from us. https://mountain-slope.com/Contact/Country/
  21. As it is our first year of production we aren't able to give anything away. Also, Ramona Hofmeister rides our standard liner that you get in store with no modifications.
  22. Those would be ours :) Mountain Slope Point.951 ... It is our first season on the market. Thanks for asking! (Thanks for sharing thread from drschwartz @Pat Donnelly) Greetings Team Mountain Slope
  23. I've never tried softboots ... Hubby has done lots of both but certainly spent way more time standing in hardboots (especially these days)
