  1. Good looking out there... pays to inspect your equipment for sure. What size boots and your weight for reference? I'm generally using the innermost holes unless reversed toe piece for my 279mm sole UPZ boots. 155lbs with the short boots so way less leverage on mine for sure. I don't think the corrosion on mine is structural but I don't like it nonetheless. I'll look to clean up and possibly recoat as well.
  2. I've got some minor corrosion on one set of my TD3 baseplates. It looks like they're plated? Should I wire brush or use steel wool to clean them up?
  3. Is it groundhog day? I swear I read this before. I never had BTS on my Raichles and when I switched to UPZ RC11, I was shocked by how much they flexed and soon ordered the orange race springs to help stiffen them up. I proceeded to add a lot of preload to the orange springs as well... I've since been backing off the preload to get them to flex more. I no longer feel that they are super flexy. I was running max forward lean in my rear foot, and considerably more upright in my Raichles. Once your foot is in the liner and boot, you can't lean back to let everything close up? The liner can't be that stiff to prevent you from pushing your calf back into the cuff?
  4. I also wear my 'underwear outside the pants' even though it was suggested they should go behind the tongue. Been very happy with this setup this year. Not as next level as Shred's but getting the job done for me with my vintage boots.
  5. Add Jones to the list with the advent of his Freecarvers?
  6. White one piece suit with pink stripe - should be enough that someone knows who that is?! Should offer an anonymous tip line. Fact she didn't stick around speaks volumes as to their character
  7. I ended up picking up a pair of Booster Straps - the Expert/Racer versions. Quite happy with them so far. Certainly more expensive than the Strapin but they look to be well made and worth the price, IMHO.
  8. I'm out. Didn't realize that @PAllen is relatively local to me too!
  9. Found this video of James on the edgelever.com binding site. Wild to see the skier not adjust except to check up briefly...
  10. For the Canucks, MEC has had their inventory on sale since last year. Some over 50% off: https://www.mec.ca/en/search?q=intuition Sizes are limited though now.
  11. We had a thread on it previously...
  12. Thanks - I've just adjusted my softboot board to 40°F/25°R, 21" (53.34cm) so not too dissimilar.
  13. @Shred Gruumer, curious on stance angles/width? looks wicked!
  14. @CB Utah mentioned his new favorite is a run at Park City these days. I enjoyed Brighton when I was there last March (until I popped my ankle in the hardboot). Had a pass from work to ride at Sundance so took advantage of that as well. I liked Brighton better (was puking snow that day).
  15. Any pics of the yellow e-rings you can share @bigwavedave? I'm interested in all 4.
  16. https://forums.alpinesnowboarder.com/store/category/5-powerride/ Shows inventory available.
  17. I'm happy with my Flow NX2 Carbons... I had considered Clew and Supermatic prior. Went with them based on suggestion of @crackaddict
  18. Nova Scotia, Canada SG Full Race Titan 163 - brand new in plastic C$800 = ~US$600 https://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details.html?adId=1686186734
  19. This asymmetrical binding combos means you'd need to purchase a regular or goofy version too? I think that may prove difficult to manage at production/sales level in the longer term. Niche product then further split between L and R versions. Won't be high volume...
  20. Rode with 21" stance last weekend, so 2" wider than my alpine stance. Felt good / fine, didn't feel too wide. Will keep it like that for now. I am riding same toe and heel lift (3°F/6°R) on both setups. The only difference is the softboot bindings have an additional 2° cant built into the footbeds.
  21. To be fair, the Ebay $999 price is or Best Offer...
