Thats Steph killing it on Standard. We were out riding one day and they were doing a marketing shoot, Steph and Paul K. hooked up with them and got some shots taken. Sorry Paul looks like you could not hit the mark for the picture. (Inside joke)

I am so proud of her. (If you think this is good you should see her carve her motorcycle on the track)

mats, i would not compare an afterburner to a powder st :) ...

jim, you can look into narrower boards such as the freesurf; basically st rarely go under 23,5 waists...Back in '95 here in la Grave everyone was riding ST with hardboots on 23-24cm waists with no issues...Idea is that even with hardboots you need to loose some angles and go to 45/30 if u can.

I'm getting next week a new carbon ST from Sebastien Perret, one of the ex shaper from freesurf, boheme and now phenix.. 183 / 25,5 waist, and i will ride it in hardboots too...

(check also the gallery, seb is a very impressive sk8 and freeride snowboarder :)

I have a narrowed version of the 176 Prior Pow stick and love it!

Dreadman-

How narrow is it?

Jim, It is 23 cm at the waist. I simply love this board for powder and mixed conditions. It turns plenty quick in the tight trees and is very stable at speed in open bowls. If you exclusively ride hardboots and want a board to carve to and from your powder stashes or in mixed conditions (when the racier carving boards beat the tar out of ya) I would highly recommend this board. It think it has a wider range of conditions that it is fun to ride, more so than even my Prior 169-4WD.

That's my 2 cents.
