The first one up on the slopes (at 3000 meters), the second in the valley (at 1500m). We really have an early winter here this year. Profile updated. GeoffV
Today's Update Anybody order some snow? It’s probably raining where you are, but we’ve got snow here at Sugarloaf, with a reported three inches up at Bullwinkles Grill, and more coming down. Word is it’s all snow from Peavy Crosscut and higher, meaning we’re getting a fresh layer of natural snow on top of everything we’ve already made up on Sluice. Snowmakers are still in action up on Sluice and Upper Tote Road, and with forecasts calling for nice cold temps throughout the remainder of the week, we’ll shuffle more snowguns down low to bury Lower Winter’s Way in a blanket of fresh fluff. Keep it tuned right here, or check our snowphone at 207-237-6808 for the latest updates as we inch closer to opening day. http://www.sugarloaf.com/daily.html

ursle
Greetings , The day we’ve been waiting for all summer is finally here. Sugarloaf is cranking up the lifts and getting you back on snow tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 9 to kick off the 2007-08 winter season. We’ve been making tons of snow on Sluice and Lower Winters Way to go along with the nice hit of natural of snow that fell on Tuesday. That’s what we’ll be skiing on for opening day with lift service from Double Runner East and Spillway West. Winter is here so grab your skis and point yourself north to Sugarloaf where you’ll find the most open vertical in the East. One thing to note – even though we’re opening a week ahead of schedule, Sugarloaf’s annual Tin Mountain Round Up will be next weekend, Nov. 17-18, when lift tickets will be just $24 when you bring three cans of food to the ticket window. Thank you snowmakers! The Trip Give thanks for snow Nothing builds an appetite like being outdoors on the mountain and Sugarloaf makes it easy to create a new holiday tradition. Join us for the Thanksgiving weekend and make it a weekend everyone will enjoy. Skiing and snowboarding by day, and then the full traditional Thanksgiving turkey feast at the Shipyard Brew Haus. It’s everything you would make yourself except someone else does the cooking, cleaning, and the dishes. Ski

Mike T
You don't see this too often - Bachelor has the snow guns fired up! Good to see they are serious about opening on 11/16. (The dusting you see in the base area is natural snowfall, there is supposedly a few inches farther up)
Blue Bird
I just finished dirt biking in Winter Park. I think this is the latest that I have Ridden the local trails. I only came across 2 feet in length of snow. I was painting the exterior of the place i live in yesterday, not good for sliding on snow
