  1. Hard to tell but I think he dresses on the left:eek:
  2. The speculation was that the seat wasn't folded down before he tried to load and so slipped thru'.

    Ouch

Do you launch yourself forward aggresively at the beginning of a turn? You could try Booster Straps. Fin sells them here. They may take up some slack at the top of the boot. Sounds like the BTS would be a good idea as well. This sounds a lot like skier's shin bang from boots being too loose at the top of the cuff.
  4. This is over at TGR .....This would never happen to a hard booter right? http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=146014 <a href="http://tinypic.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i41.tinypic.com/309lrgj.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>
  5. Pretty sure Mansfield is open to the public WED-FRI
  6. Can't pm you? Not exactly sure of the boards age. 3-4 years I think. It's the one with the yellow/green sidewalls. The inserts are not brass tho'
  7. Thanks to Sean & Noschool for the help. Happy New Year:D
  8. Can anyone post a picture of an insert so I can see what I'm trying to pin/epoxy. I have a Madd 170 with a spun insert that I'd like t fix. If I know what I'm trying to hit maybe I'll have to drill fewer holes in the carbon butterfly.
  9. Try bringing your trailing (right) hand around to be more in line with your front boot. This will help get your upper body facing the right direction. I think you could allow some more flex in your knees, but this will depend partly on how fast you are moving. As you get lower on your board keep that right hand up front and even let it touch your front boot top.
  10. Hard boots not scary! Hard boots warm and cozy:biggthump Hard boots make very happy inside:1luvu: Do not be afraid of hard boots....just try them Then you happy inside too!
  11. try putting some stainless washers under the bumpers..that will work unless you have the wrong cant disk/bumper combination
  12. Missed the SOS (gotta stop working) Would like to be at Devil's Glen, but I'm lucky to be in the North Rockies powder that week:eplus2: There's always next year...thanks for keeping me on the list Chris
  13. I'm looking for some boots for a buddy who's about to get out of his soft boots and come over to our side. Anyone have a pair of 423's maybe in mondo 29 with intecs....thermal liners would be good too.
  14. Him: How does that thing work? Me: Really well! Him: Do you like snowboarding too? Me:
  15. I have a Red (Burton) Helmet--medium and some oakley goggles in a smaller size that I'd be happy to donate to the cause...let me know Phil.
  16. http://www.yyzcanuck.com/E_tech_cooking.htm This a good description of how to cook your own from YYZ Canuck's site. It's easy, just relax. :D
  17. You should find lots of info if you search the forums here for opinions on boots. Welcome, and hope your first hard boot season is a great one!
  18. do you have thermo liners in these boots? You may find as they pack out (and they will) over time that the fit of your boot gets sloppy. If it's possible, I would consider smaller boots and going to a boot fitter to get the shell punched out to accomodate your wide foot. It is amazing what boot fitting can accomplish with a good foot bed and a heat gun. I usually wear a size 10 street shoe and my boots are size 26 (that's an eight I think).

  21. on the mast so others will know where you hail from! :D
  22. If you have someone handy with a sewing machine (just marry an seamstress), cut the square end of the ski bag open and sew it flat. It makes a great fit for one alpine board. Just cut off all the straps and buckles so they don't flap around.
