I am headed to Vail in early Feb and want to get my board tuned up. I don't have any tools and want it done correctly. I just need the edges sharpened and base waxed. I have a 4 yr old Axis 177. Looking for suggestions on where i can get this done.Thanks.

I am going to be in Vail/BC area week of Feb 23 and my board has not seen wax or a file since last year. I don't have any tools at all so am looking for a shop that can do a wax job and edge refresh while I am in the area. Thanks, Eric

Anyone want to split the cost of 2 new FinTec heels ? Bomber sells the binding parts in singles but the heels in pairs, so i want to split a pair of heels....

I have td2 with bails and Deeluxe boots and I want to switch over to intec. I need front bails, heel receivers (steel or al) and intec heels (fintec or older intecs). Thanks ! If I can't find someone to sell me the parts or trade, then I'll "rent" the conversion gear from you as i only need it 1 week in late Feb...

Hi, i will be in Vail Feb 24-Mar 2 with my family (wife and kids). I have been carving for a week or two and need someone to ride with so I can learn how to do real carves ! Anybody going to be in the area ? Thanks, Eric.

Havig only ridden the f2, I have little experience to base my buying decision on. I appreciated everybody's input. Sounds like the Axis 172 or 177 may meet my needs a little better than the F2. As long as I can make moderate speed, laid down carving turns on the Axis and then punch through some chewed up powder with ease, then I would be happy. Now, where can I find a nice used Axis ?? Any thoughts on Big Sky vs. PC ? My only opportunity to go is Christmas week as my kids' spring break isn't until 3/24 and that may be too late (if not, I'll go then too !). I dont want the PC crowds, but don't know anything about Big Sky

Thanks to a forum member, I now have a pair of Deeluxe Suzuka boots...now I need a board/bindings setup. My only real carving experience was thanks to Bordy in PC who loaned me a F2 Silberfiel (172 I think). i loved the board until it snowed and then my riding fell apart. I am going to buy 1 board this season and a couple of people have suggested a Donek Axis 177. I want the same carving ability as the F2, although I know I barely tapped into it's true potential during my limited time in PC, but want something that will be more forgiving in the crud and powder so I can keep up with my kids on skis. I need help with board selection and bindings, although I am thinking TD2s would be fine for me. I am 6.1 and 190. Thanks in advance for your suggestions, Also, how is Big Sky compared to PC ?

Thermoflex liners has been heated once, but boots have never been ridden. They are 1 size too small for me. Trade for a pair of 28s or sell for $260 including shipping in US. suzuka@stonecourt.com
