Teach, in the interest of making these cross border exchanges go more smoothly, can you tell us how you shipped. UPS, USPS, Fedex? Priority, standard etc. I'm just trying to figure out what works best....I know I recently bought a board which was shipped UPS and arrived in 3 days with no trouble--pretty much. It was insured for full value, but what this means to UPS is lay on the duty and all associated costs which I'll pay to the tune of $78.00. I think it's better to take the default $100 insured value, or whatever it is, because it seems to fly low under the duty and taxes radar.
  2. Looks like a new topsheet design to me. Just don't let Disney, or Hanna Barbara or whoever owns the rights to the image ride with you!
  3. Yep me too. Maybe not faster, hopefully a bit wiser??
  4. What I dread in the lift line is the kid with his/her front binding at zero. They shuffle up the line to load, and I just know when they twist their body 90 degrees to sit down on the lift next to me their Walmart special is going to come swinging around at high speed and contact my board-- edge to edge-- with a force similar to Mike Tyson really laying one on. Have you ever taken two hammers and swung them face to face? That's it. :eek:I can just feel that carefully tuned edge buckle at impact. If by some miracle your edges don't suffer, a gaping C shaped scar appears on your top sheet. Tough to avoid that.:(
  5. Also giving UPZ a try. My forefoot will thank me. The toe box is considerably wider. Not sure about that buckle next to the toe buckle. A bit awkwardly placed. Overall tho'
  6. geez I'm like a kid at Christmas:freak3: These and the Donek Razor should help lure my son into the world of alpine boarding....bwahahahah! Wait "bwahahahah" is ©Fin 2011?
  7. I hope not. I just bought a pair:eek: It does look like a big aggressive rider could give the toepiece a run for its money tho'. I wanted something with a bit of flex in them, and at 175lb. I don't think I will be blowing them up. Until those intec sidewinders arrive, F2 will have to fill the bill.
  8. Thanks for the update. No for some reason your earlier mail didn't get through to me. It's all good. Boots arrived, and they look great! Thanks.
