  1. You guys should just send Phil a piece so he can let us know his conclusions. I'm pretty sure he can "test" it better than most and give you honest feedback from the racers.
  2. Well you're missing out on some of the best carving terrain in New Mexico. Maybe next time... JPW
  3. You'll enjoy Pajarito. Zero lift lines and excellent pitch on the whole mountain. The runs are a little short but it's a small mountain. Aren't those starting tomorrow? "RedRiver" will be at Pajarito. My parents are in town so I won't be able to make it, but I am meeting RedRiver over at Santa Fe on Monday. Conditions are great down here. Come on down! JPW
  4. Sup CO peeps! Just wanted to see if anybody is interested in a meetup in March? Conditions are outstanding down here. I looked around at some CO resorts and noticed a lot of 30-50" bases. I do not remember a winter where we've gotten more snow down here than you guys up north. Not to rub it in but we've been getting hammered the past few weeks. If ever there was a season to LEAVE Colorado to come TO New Mexico this would be it. The only catch is everything starts going to the crapper by late March so the first couple weeks of March would be the best timeframe. Most of our resorts close on April 1st. I know it's not the most convienient time since most of you guys are probably cashing in your life savings at SES but I figured it was worth a shot! Reply here if you guys want to plan something out! Later, John
  5. Not to dispute Jack because he knows his chit, but personally I would disregard overhang and ride whatever angles feel comfortable. If that is 30deg Front and 25deg back then so be it. Once you get comfortable there then bump it up to 35F/30R. Then once comfortable go 40F/35R. The small steps between each change will be less noticable and you'll be more confident taking the baby steps. Or just go straight to 45deg + and force yourself to figure it out. The worst part of learning to ride hardboots for me was jumping straight into steep angles. Going from softboot stances straight to 50deg+ angles was painful and ackward. You will not likely be making turns where overhang will really factor anyways... Just another opinion. Take it for what it's worth.
  6. I've seen some softbooters carve better than some hardbooters. That hardbooter may or may not be me. I'm just saying...
  7. New Mexico is kicking arse this year. It started off slow but the past few weeks have put us at 100% open terrain STATE WIDE. Almost unheard of. Santa Fe has almost a 90" base!!! Most Colorado resorts are sitting at 30-50" bases. Come on down...the snow is fabulous! 10. Lisa > Me Although I knew that three years ago! Glad you guys are having a good time Tom! I'll be down here enjoying the recent dumps and schweet groom!
  11. Gratz man! Can't wait to get my girls on the snow!
  12. Hi Alpinehick. Do you have Paypal? I just need you to send me funds via Paypal and then I'll get your mailing address and get the binding package sent out. You can email me at johnpaulwynn at hotmail dot com Let me know, thanks! JPW
  13. Hooger is spoken for with another person in line. TD2 package still avaliable. Thanks, John
  14. I guess Bomber Email/PM is broke? I haven't gotten anything. Email johnpaulwynn @ hotmail dot com
  15. I'll respond to this thead I just didn't want any confusion on the "getting in line" issue because it seems to be a problem here recently. Pics in the old sale thread: http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=24428&highlight=Hooger+Tuned Please do not bump that old thread!!! You'll be fine @150 on this board. It's a good board I like it better than the Burton FPs and Speeds that I had before I got this one.
  16. I'm selling my TD2's because I can't get off my F2 Titanflexs. They are in great shape. Offering as a package first and if somebody buys just the bindings I will sell the other parts individually. Please do not ask me to seperate anything! *SOLD* TD2 SIs, Four Cants (0, 3, 3, 6), Yellow Bumpers, converted TD3 SI Steel Recievers (regular TD2 SI receivers also included). For reference Cants are $30/each and the TD3 SI Steel Receiver Kit is $50. I will sell the bindings with your choice of two cants and the standard TD2 SI receiver for $225 + shipping but I'd rather sell everything as a package... *SOLD* Hooger Tuned 163. Nice carving board, lots of camber! I'm pushing 195lbs and it handles my fat arse just fine. Fun board just not getting used due to the Tanker 192 and the Coiler 172 AM-T. Payment by Paypal I will eat all fees. Shipping by USPS (Bindings will go Priority flat rate box and the board can be either Parcel Post or Priority Mail and should be less than $30 to ship). I will ship to North America but no other international shipping (aka Canada is ok). My PM is enabled. First come, first serve via PM, not by replying to this thread. PM me to get in line!! Pics to follow...
  17. Yeah El Nino has not been good to us so far this season, but it looks like we got a solid week of snow coming this week. Hopefully it will be enough to get the Coiler out soon!
  18. Hey sorry I missed this. I should be able to come out for at least one day. Shoot me a PM. JPW
  19. Middle here. I never play with stance though. I probably should experiment more.
  20. I'm using F2 Intec Titanflex on my 192 Tanker so far w/o issues. I guess I won't be putting the TD2's on there anytime soon...
  21. A pair of these would be in my cart right now if there was a step-in version. :(
  22. I don't tinker much at all really. I set my stuff up and just ride pretty much for the whole day. I can count maybe 5 times in my entire boarding history that I've changed my settings during an outing. Mostly at lunch. The most I tinkered was when I first started off getting used to steeper binding angles. Once I got comfortable with that it was set and and forget it pretty much.
  23. TD1's had 0, 3, and 6 degree cant discs. You needed the corresponding bumpers though.
  24. $100-150 would be the price here on BOL. So bro price would be like $75.
