  1. I was just about to post to say the same thing. :-) I'm getting decoding errors in episodes 6 & 7. I tried it with the Quicktime player as well as VLC and the DivX player. Are you on a Mac ? Corey, how are you encoding the files ? -
  2. Episode 7: http://www.adrive.com/public/e952e02e49cc62fd532f440ba3e7cad0b555dfae646cefd547b4b304fada4abe.html --
  3. Episode 6: http://www.adrive.com/public/b4e5571809410959d2987f297622fe8ebcea8c0e9cc04576744e312f106dd83d.html --
  4. I'm 170lbs, not that aggressive a rider and I'm going to start with medium (blue) rings. I find that starting with the middle choice tends to work best for me. --
  5. So I guess I won't be getting my TD3s for another 2 weeks. Bummer. --
  6. I saw a 200cm padded bag with wheels in one of the shops in the Whistler village just 2 weeks ago. I believe it was a Dakine bag and cost something like $240 or so, if I remember correctly. As for Air Canada, here's what their site says:
  7. Count me in for all 3 days. Not being a pussy, I'm looking forward to -25C weather. Seriously, they tend to be the best days, since the snow doesn't melt and freeze into ice and you practically have the entire resort to yourself. --
  8. I count 21. All located in BC, Alberta, Quebec, Ontario, Vermont, and NY. --
  9. t-001R Tierney Rides T-board in EXCELLENT condition, save for some scuff marks on the topsheet. Dimensions: 39.5 x 9.5 x 5 (inches) $75 + shipping --
  10. I'm selling my Sims Burner 162 for $200 + shipping. It's in excellent condition. The base has a thick coat of off-season wax, which needs to be scrapped off. And I have a couple of pieces of tape on the top sheet, which you might want to take off -- I used them to mark the mid-point of the effective edge. Oh, and the waist is 18cm. --

  12. I got caught too. I figured it's January and the sales prices would be around for a bit, given the market conditions. So, I'll be skipping NES this year. --
  13. But since then, the temps have gone above zero and will go back down before Saturday -- that's the recipe for ice. :) But I prefer the ice & hardpack to moguls. So as long as the sun is shinning, there are no rock exposures, and there's lots of room to carve, I'll be happy. --
  14. Looks like it's going to be a downhill ice rink. That page says the basedepth is a mere 59cm. Is that accurate ? It seems really thin to me. I'm switching to 'definite maybe'. I'll wait to see what the conditions are like. --
  15. Thanks for the offer guys ! Ends up, the Cypress shuttle bus stops at 08:00 2 blocks away from where I'm staying. How's that for luck. I'm not so lucky on the way back, though, since it only leaves for downtown at 20:15. I guess they're trying to avoid traffic, or are making some assumptions about the lifestyles of those who live downtown. So I'll be there Sunday, but I'll be in my softies trying out my new freeride board -- yeah, it's a Prior too. I'll be talking to anyone in hardboots, so if you got'em you'll be hearing from me. If the conditions are good, I'll bring my hardboots next time. 'later...
  16. Hey folks, do any of you head to Cypress from downtown ? I'm looking to see if there are any car-pools around before I look at other arrangements. I'm aiming to head out on Sunday. Thanks ! 'later...
  17. Hey folks, I have the week between Christmas and New Years off, I'll will be staying in Calgary and was wondering who'll be up for some riding during then ? 'later...
  18. Unfortunately I'll have to pass on SES this year. I'll be going oversees just before then and the moving has, and will continue to, work my credit card.
  19. Not everybody lives in downtown Canada, you know. 'later...
  20. CBC doesn't allow people in the US to view the streaming video from their site either. 'later...
  21. 22 months for the first reply. I hope he wasn't in a rush. 'later...
  22. The credit card companies in Canada started doing that several years ago. I know that some of them did send us a notice announcing that they would charge something like 2-3%. I agree it's total BS. I was quite pissed off when I first heard of it. But it's still not as bad as what the Bank of Montreal tried doing many years ago. They announced a new policy: they would close all accounts that had something like $10 or less, and keep the money. Yes, you read that last part right. Needless to say, that got shot down before they had a chance to actually put it into practice. Canadians have complained to the government many times about bank policies and fees. Now everybody has turned their attention to the banks cousins in crime, the telecomm companies. 'later...
  23. C5, this just occurred to me: was his name Robert John "Mutt" Lange by any chance ? 'later...
