    Yo Lci!!

No KK or Concussed tomorrow at Lovey. KK is done for the season. Not sure about me. Angie, Check with Bola to see if he will be at Eldo tomorrow. Also a possibility that D.T. will be there since Bola has been wanting us to join him there for a while. On tues. Bola said the carving there has been really good. Keep clear of the tree on the left side of Chute with all the scars in its bark. It isn't a killer but it does a lot of damage. Ink

    Yo Lci!!

I'm hoping to get KK up one more time but I know that Bola wants us to join him at Eldo. I don't even know if I get to play on snow this weekend yet. Oh well. Ink
  5. Fairbanks uses the Boeri and loves it. He says it is lighter than most and the chin guard isn't right in front of your mouth, there is a little more space between mouth and guard than some others. Ink
  6. Question Fin directly, no need to use the forum to get this information. Ink

9am-2:30pm 17 Mar 09 One clueless gaper received a stern talkin' to from BalboaJeff, one skier was gunned down by mtnbumvbc, and Accidental Chef was taken out by clueless gaper 2. Mtnbumvbc had to visit the patrol house but was quickly released for good behavior, and AC received a scraped up arm (inside 3 layers of clothes) and limp shoulder. Conditions were firm to very firm. Edgesets left only thin lines carved into the snow with little to no depth. It was very good! Attendees on the day include: mtnbumvbc, balboajeff, LLR, AC, TVR, Arneburner, bola and myself. mtnbumvbc was riding his x2 with confidence and panache'(well done) Balboajeff discussed speeds with the sheriff and believed them to be between 35 and 40mph. Scientific conclusion was that bj is correct. GPS speeds indicated that bj was riding 34.6mph, arneburner 36.4mph and myself at 39.2mph. Betcha didn't see that comin' now didja. Conclusion: Extremely fun day today and thanks to all riders in attendance. Let us scribe more arcs in the snow soon. Ink Tae, it was a pleasure meeting and riding with you. Let us know when you will be in attendance next year. TVR, get that boot/binding setup figured out so you can ride more.

Not sure if I will make it out this weekend or not yet since the rest of the family will be going out of town next weekend. I'll post later when I know. Ink

I got a call from Thor Von Rippington and it sounds like he and a buddy will be joining us also. Ink
  12. I have the first gen SG (ugly pointy one) with and 18,5 scr. I don't race anymore and use it for most of my carving needs. With the new designs, decambered noses and softer flexes, the race boards almost need the greater scr to avoid hooking your turn into the gate. That said, I was able to take the 18,5 and match turns with PCDenver on an 11,2 Donek FCI. These boards are capable of being tightened up when needed with rider input. My SG takes more work to bring it across the hill, it is race bred and likes to release the turn down the hill for the next gate, but it is possible with the right input from the rider. Hope this helps.
  13. I hadn't even thought about the perspective issue. Good point. It ended up being good fun. "I can always spot Ink on the mtn, I just look for the A$$ carving turns" Tony yesterday Riding backwards allows me to better watch what my followers are doing. Different angles is what extracts the most knowledge. Ink
  14. Morning D.T., Did you see the LCS Vid that redriver posted? There is a bunch of footy of Shelly. Ink
  15. Chief, DT said that his legs were definately tired however I didn't hear those types of comments from the sheriff. I will do what I can as far as enforcement goes on Tuesday. Ink
  16. Cool shots. I look forward to viewing the vid. Gleb, those bannana pants make your bum look big. Notice the slimming effect of the black pants in the shots of JD. Ink
  17. Thanks for filming and riding. It is definately cool seeing a lot of riders at Lovey. Thanks for joining us and hope to see you again next year. Ink

Tae, When you get off the highway turn right to go to loveland BASIN. I will be there around 8:30 and the hill opens at 9:00. I will be upstairs of the lodge (beyond the clock tower) near the Wedge Bar. If you are arriving later give a call when you get to the hill. Digits are seven two oh - two one seven - seven eight oh five. See you in a couple days. Ink Arneburner, are you riding with us?
  20. Sorry Sheriff Pete. I just think you and D.T. were a bit hasty in your decision to depart for the day. The snow ended up grippy and FUN. The FCII and I were having a blast. Ink
  21. I didn't realize that. It was nice to meet and ride with you. You are welcome and I hope to see you join us more often. Ink
  22. Tony, AC and I rode 1 and 6 and had a blast. Tony was doing a pretty good job of following my line and started to commit to the edge to clean up his carves. AC was carving will on more mellow pitches but has trouble with his confidence when the speeds or pitch increase. Ran into another carver, Dan, who rode with us a few runs. It was good before and after you left PC. I had fun on Richards Run. Ink

Are you looking for carving or all mtn, trees everything goes? Currently lovey is forcast for 43 on Tues so carve should be good in the morning then softening up. Ink
  25. Not out of line at all Neil. I didn't know JR was on the injured list. He was limping a lot at the RTTC in Copper but didn't hear anything since. Possibly he had surgery to fix problems that have been plagueing him. Hopefully he will have a quick, full recovery and be back at it 100% for next season. Ink
