Dan, See you at lift 1. You never ride lift 2 from the bottom unless 1 isn not in operation. Your leg will be asleep by the time you reach the top. Ink

Shred, With our season passes we can get a discount for Lovey. I think the discounted Lovey is around $46 but am not positive of that. If Accidental Chef didn't or isn't going to use an Abasin ticket I passed on to him, it can be yours for $38. Ink

Seraph, We will also have a group at abasin this coming monday(30th) when Shred is in town. If you can join us you will learn a lot from people who can actually see your setup and see you ride. just sayin', Ink

If you compare to XTR setup or even xt it isn't too far out of range. You do need to have and ISCG chainguide mount on the frame also. I think ACS used to make the 2 speed setup back in the day consisting of a 2 speed freewheel and deraileur. Pull the lever for the lower gear for your start out of the gate then release for the higher gear once you were moving. Cool stuff. Ink

Damn, sorry I missed your b-day JD. It sounds like you had fun one. I forgot how much of a kid you still are, 29 and all. That just makes me feel better that I'm still charging on the hill and pretty much keeping up with you pups. Ink

I rode BMX as a kid and continue to ride now. I haven't raced since '99 but KarverKai is wanting to try it so I may jump in the gate when he gives it a go. We ride the track, have gone to a couple dirt jump locations and session skateparks from time to time. I would like to get better at DJ this summer. I ride skatepark or urban on my lunch hour during the summer. I ride an old, '95ish, chromoly Haro cruiser (24") that is light, flexible and fun. On the track I prefer stiffer bikes for the power transfer but my Haro is still a lot of fun. I haven't tried a 20" in a long time though. Kent, some riders were actually tested at a higher wattage output than the Oly Track Team. I read that Brian Lopes(BMX, MTB) tested higher and he even gave track riding a shot for a short period. I am sorry to inform you that the Bling Donek FCII 179 has passed away. BDFCII wasn't feeling very well on Saturday, having a cracked lexan plate and was a little wobbley around the front foot. I took it to the shop to rest and when I checked up on it this A.M. I discovered that the core, on either side of the front inserts have separated from the rest of the core longitudinally. I have taken the bindings off and burried it in the backyard. We had a very nice ceremony and the BDFCII will be missed. Please give BDFCII a moment of silence to honor it's life and all of the entertainment that it provided. Ink

Don't forget to check the ride board to see if there is anyone in your area whom you could meet up with for technique advice. It helps to ride with others whenever possible. Many Boler's have quivers and may be able to set you up for some test rides on different boards and bindings. As you will hear a lot on here, get a good set of boots and get them fitted properly. Ink

Much fun was had by all. I saw light under the boards of D.T. and Big Mario off of a couple jumps, thumbs up to them for that. Sorry for the 360 in front of you D.T. but it was my line first. Ha Ha.
