  1. doubtful. But congrats on getting settled....we'll miss you this year!
  2. All good ideas! And slopestar, I like the idea about soft boot carvers. We'll see what we can come up with. It's been a little hectic here......working hard to get bindings out before the snow flies, but here we're too late! photo of ABasin this morning (courtesy of ABasin web cams).
  3. I'm going to refer to an article we wrote a few years ago. I'm not saying that this applies, just wanted to make everyone aware of what we recommend. http://www.bomberonline.com/resources/Bomberfiles/product_warning_01_17_06.html
  4. when you start modifying the plastic design of the boots, you could potentially run into some safety issues. I have seen some AT boots work fine in plate bindings, but you definitely have to pay attention to this. also, none of them will be step in compatible.
  5. 6. has to be photoshopped. No Way is he going that fast on rocks!
  7. yes. Joerg was here last week and they are going to have their eastern sessions as listed on their site.
  8. We are sold out of the TD2 center disks, and we won't be making any more of them. This is why the 2nd board kit is not available. :(We do have the TD3 2nd board kits available which will work with your TD2 upper binding. Please note that the only part of the TD2 lower assembly that is interchangeable with the TD3 is the cant disk. Everything else - e-ring, center disk, and screws - are not interchangeable from TD2 to TD3.
  9. we sell these in our store. They are the same as the TD3s just FYI. :)
  10. A big shout out to Jonasmo, who we rarely see on this side of the camera. He's made the event memorable with so many late nights of editing video at the SES so we can all have entertainment at the banquet, and given us memories of the event for years to come. Thank you John!! not sure who to credit for the photo - Ace maybe?
  11. no way!! It's not possible.....We'd love to hook up with you and the infamous Beth! Definitely give me a shout when it gets closer and remind me. Riding should be good then - it's right after Nationals!
  12. Oh AL!!!! how can the BOL house survive without you? :(
  13. This fire is really big and burning pretty hot. I second that - hope everyone is safe!
  14. Love it!!! nice job guys! hmmmmmmm
  15. I had my board stolen, in Aspen, out of my truck. locks froze on my truck and it was then easy to just open the door. The board was in a bag so thieves most likely just picked up and ran, never knowing what they had. I'm sure my custom Prior ended up in a dumpster somewhere because they looked at it and said "WTH is this?". It was a string of thefts that was reported to Aspen police and they caught the guys, but no recovery of my stuff. I would ALWAYS lock up my carving gear because even if people don't know what it is, it looks expensive (rightly so) and they just think "racing gear" which as michael.a said, they think that racers are always on expensive stuff. I get funny looks when I take my board into the bathroom stalls with me, but it hasn't gotten stolen since that Aspen incident. Lesson learned. :(
  16. I've been wanting to learn how to ferment (I hear it's easy). I would totally buy local fermented foods if it was available - like farmer's market?
  17. I am also not having problems but I haven't tried to post any photos, which is what I was having problems with. i thought it was my keyboard which sees so much use most of the letters are gone.
  18. ugh John sorry to hear about the job but seems that you always make the best of it! If you come through here on your way back, definitely stop by and there's a place to crash with your name on it. But I get to ride on your bike :)
  19. awesome info, and just as I remember it. I was in NZ a long time ago, but the conditions have not seemed to change. Spent about 6 weeks in Methven and Mt Hutt and i can remember very well the road leading up to it! Scary indeed. There are so many things to do in NZ and even in the drab times of the winter still a ton of fun doing all the touristy things on the south island. One day I will make it back and check out the summer!
  20. is the forum still doing weird things? Anyone know?
