You should always consider the fact that if you do break the board, you'll probably void the warranty. Just FYI. Also some boards hold up and perform better than others.

I'm with you! I am a very timid rider and if I had to ride on crowded slopes all the time I probably wouldn't ride. Even on our slopes here in CO, if I ride past 10am it's a miracle because of the super crowds that we get here. None of them turn, and all are going WAY too fast to ever stop. My bubble is HUGE!

If she's got a 24.5 boot, then she has a 24 shell (If they are Deeluxe). This means shoving a 25 liner in there will do no good, since there isn't enough room in the shell itself to fit the 24 liner, much less the 25. :( Sorry for the bearer of bad news.

Well said lowrider....that is all true. TheBoarderDude, with a plate all the rules change making them basically null and void and in place new rules. The board will ride differently, the bindings will have an effect, and everything will differ depending on where you place the plate on the board as well as where you place the bindings on the plate. With regards to the Bomber plates, the 4mm lite is going to be better for you than the others with your weight range. If you can make it out to CO you can try our plate and probably the Donek plate as well. Email us if you have any questions about them. :)

I kept trying to fill the food bowl. I have other dogs too, so when I lost one it was just a habit to try and put food in his bowl as well. Over a year later, I miss him every single day. :( His brother is in ill health and I'm wondering how much longer I have with him. BTW, he's 15 yrs, 7 months, 3 days.

Does anyone know what happened to all of Doug Dryer's gear? I'm hoping it's not sitting in a basement somewhere just collecting dust. Doug would not be happy with that. If anyone has resources to find out, and if they need help with it, please let us know. We'll make an exception and help liquidate that stuff for whoever owns it now. We'll post pics with the new happy owners and call it a tribute to Doug!

Time again to start thinking about that event that will change your carving world forever - SES 2015! This one is special, because we won't have another one until 2017! This year the event is Feb 7-13th 2015, and since it gets bigger each year, this one should be HUGE! Use this thread to let people you know are coming, post comments about past events, and plans for shenanigans at this year's event. Keep in mind the event is free to all, just show up and ride. However, we do have some excellent group rate multi-day tickets and Carver Cards if you want to demo. Get your ticket to ride here: 2015 SES purchase. In late May 2009, near the end of her training, she was climbing on Mont Blanc, crossing a glacier on their descent, when she and a man she was tethered to fell into a crevasse and both were killed, despite rescue attempts. :( 3 Olympics and many many World Cup races. Alot of things can be found online, including FBI most wanted. You could peruse the local police records and/or FBI files and see if she appears in any photos. I'm sure most of these things you can do anonymously. You can also google her and see what you find! Although you are probably not sure what her real name is...

Something also to consider - These boots are Raichles and that company hasn't made boots since approx 2003, which means the boots and more importantly the plastic is over 10 years old. Plastic degrades over time. Indy's and Suzuka's will be on this list as well, although not quite as old. It's not the only factor, but something to keep in mind.

I know everyone is on the edge of their seat waiting for the new SES dates! Bomber has decided that in order to allow both the ECES and the SES to thrive in their own light, after the SES 2015 it will go to every other year. What this means is that we will hold an SES in 2015, but then not again until 2017. This also means you'd better get moving and book your tickets for the 2015 SES!!! Both events are getting bigger (great news!) and most of you have to decide which event you will attend on the years that hold both of them. This way there are no dividers, everyone will still have a great time, and we all get to keep our sanity! We invite you to join us Feb 7-13, 2015 in Aspen for the bi-annual SES event.
