Goodness I just saw this thread had been closed! How can we learn about awesome food stuff? Here was my creation for Halloween.

Well, there is something you can do about it and that is to VOTE! If this passes in Washington that will be a huge step in the process. It's ironic that so many other countries are banning GMOs but the US won't! They are trying to write something in the farm bill (that still hasn't been decided on) that would eliminate the states' rights to have a say in laws concerning GMOs. In India, the farmers working with the GMOs developed so much depression and disease they drank the pesticide to commit suicide. Congrats monsanto!

We miss him too! A few years back, after 20+ years of coming to the US, they denied his visa for some unexplained reason. It was one of the years when they were cracking down on H2b's or whatever the visa that he was on. He decided it was easier to go to Canada and I think that's where he's been spending his American winters. And yet they let thousands and thousands of illegal immigrants come here every day.....ok, not a political discussion. The SES would be honored to have him come one year as a guest appearance!

Oh hello can of worms! Not only the bees and the Monarch butterflies, but the human race will eventually pay this price. One of the craziest things I read was that the employees of the federal government and Monsanto eat ONLY ORGANIC FOOD in their cafeterias! They won't even eat the crap they are trying to get the US population, and the world, to eat. Floboot, funny that your ranting is so incredibly true, and coming from someone outside the US. I guess, when you step back, you really can see the forest through the trees. Thank you for signing the petition! PS. Posting the other pic of the bread on the foodie thread. :)

Nice! I watch those guys all the time and think they would do a great job. the interest seems to spark during an Olympic year. I also contacted Gregg Moss because he does those "where in the town" and spotlights a local company that has "made it". I got nothing from that. I also contacted Susie Wargin a few years ago and she said "we'll look at it again when it's an Olympic year" which is now. If we can help, please let me know since we would love to see more profiles done - especially since these guys are training here in CO! Keep me posted Everett!

She's awesome and so incredibly nice. I wasn't badgering you, just "the media" in general. I'd love to see 9News or one of them come out in Oct when those guys are here training for the olympics. I've contacted them but if you have any more credibility and can get them out here that would be fantstic. Someone should cover more of the local Olympians than just Missy the swimmer (although she's awesome too).
