    Congrats Sasha

Thank you Ink. Means a lot from a more experienced coach!
  2. Isn’t the one on the right sized much smaller than the one on the left? How can you do that?
  3. I don't know about that, I think she is being very hard on herself and has gone way too deep into the dark corners of her mind. Last night I saw her say hers was possibly the worst failure in the history of the Olympics. She needs some serious support, coaching, and sports psychology right now. Hope she comes back from all this and crushes World Cup. She is the Queen of Winter!

    Congrats Sasha

170cm, 19.5cm. She is not tall.

    Congrats Sasha

Indulge my bragging for a moment, my CVA athlete Sasha Jansjuwicz, 16, won her first FIS race yesterday at Blue Mountain Ontario! I have high hopes for her, she is strong and has a natural ability to find the right line around the gates. https://www.facebook.com/285451501224/posts/10159110875616225
  6. Try removing the inward cants. Almost nobody does that anymore. It was popular in the 90s. Like the practice of human sacrifice, it seemed like a good idea at the time. Purchase another F2 lift kit so you can try toe lift on the front foot and heel lift on the back foot. Many people find this more comfortable. Especially helpful if your front thigh is burning out.
  7. Try: Donek YYZCanuck i-carve all-boards Blue Tomato The House ?
  8. Are you positive you’re a 29.5? Because I know a guy who will be selling 28.5s.
  9. more details please before we nuke.
  10. It depends on the course and conditions. I would say generally the rider who wins is usually the one who carved the most and slarved/skidded the least. Ledecka carved so much in these Olympics, I love her style. (I think she did last time too, I can't remember off the top of my head) They are my favorite boot. However a perfectly kitted and fitted pair of UPZs or Deeluxes can be just as good. The issue is that UPZs and Deeluxes need a lot of aftermarket parts and maybe stretching to be as good as Mountain Slopes are out of the box, in my experience. And I could never get the same heel hold in T700s.
  11. It also helps the slope appear more gentle or even flat because you're not looking down it. Your body knows better what to do when you give it the visual target.
  12. He was banned and flagged as a spammer last night. Just now I additionally disabled his messenger, maybe he was still allowed to send PMs even while banned? If he is sending direct emails outside of the PM system I'm afraid there's nothing we can do about that here.
  13. According to oneski.com, currently there is only a 20cm wide plate, which can accommodate skis with up to 120mm nose width. So forget about Kessler skis for now, lol.
  14. Ok thanks. Maybe I misread or there was a typo, thought I saw 1.5.
  15. Hey if the skis are easily swappable, you get twice the edge life! I wonder what Alta and Deer Valley will say...
  16. Ha! @GeoffVjust sent me this the other day because this is something that I have been wondering if it would work! Good luck Mike! Nice to see you here!
  17. Here is some reading: http://alpinesnowboarder.com/tech-articles/ The old gear does not still work in New England. Unless it’s hero snow.
  18. With Deeluxe T700 and .951 I did not have to widen the forefoot. I did have to have the forefoot widened on my UPZ RC10s. Ask i-carve if they have a return policy for bad fit. If they don't, at the very least the boots will be easy to sell.
  19. She grabbed indy or frontside for stabilization several times throughout the 2006 race too. The difference was the tweaked out method at the end of the 2006 race. She hasn't done that in these games.
  20. @johnasmo1.5° base edge bevel?
  21. IIRC, Brushie's jump was during the era where you had to race to win the overall. If that's right, then I think that move was not only a stylish joke but also a middle finger, as if to say "we shouldn't have to race". It was obviously an event he didn't give a rat's about either way. Completely different situation. As for Lindsey, put me in the showboating camp. Not saying I wasn't that dumb at the ripe old age of 20! I agree with Neil, grabs are necessary to get into the right position. Can't tweak without a grab. A method without a grab is just... fruity. Rails on the other hand... now that is just skateboarding for dummies.
  22. Hold it for my athlete…
