  1. The third pic in the original post shows the camber in relation to a US penny, which is about 33% taller than a Canadian penny. Seriously though, it has something over a centimetre in camber, which in my experience, F2s retain really well. Plus this board wasn’t ridden that much, owing to me having too many boards (14 at one point). So it has some pop.
  2. Price drop to $US150 for a versatile, lively, all-mtn carver. Storage wax will be scraped off prior to shipping.
  3. When I bought it off a fellow BOLer, it appeared like it may not have even been ridden. I think it is an '05 or '06 model. Specs, as far as I can tell, are approximately: Overall: 1650mm Effective Edge: 1400mm Nose Width: 280.2mm Waist Width: 228mm Tail Width: 280.2mm Sidecut radius: 9m Recom. Stance: 520mm Recom. Angle: 45 / 35 Offset: 20mm Target group: 75+ KG I weigh 160 lbs and the board works well for me.
  4. Well, still planning to hit Martock tomorrow night.
  5. I’ve had occasional lower back pain similar to what you describe, brought on by hard heel-side slides/stops that occurred due to proximity of trees or lift pole. I have self-diagnosed as herniated disc. What has worked for me is: 1) rest; 2) planks - front, side, back; 3) once things are feeling better, Roman chair plus continuation of front and side planks. My theory is that by building the muscles on all sides of the discs, once the inflammation has subsided, the muscles will be better able to provide counter-pressure against the compression forces that squeeze discs outward during these really hard stops.
  6. I prefer to listen for the flap of the open-coat straightliner.

  10. SkiDad takes great care of his gear. I haven’t ridden this board, but I’ve seen SkiDad carve up icy King’s Landing and Hayburner at Sugarloaf. Even the steepest sections at the bottom. Buy and ride with confidence!
  11. I have one of these. Super versatile, super fun board!
  12. The board says it has a 3-D sidecut radius, which I take to mean it's variable. However, if I compare to my other boards, this one feels like it averages 9-10 metres. Maybe others know more?
  13. It does say they're in perfect condition ...
  14. For sale is a Volkl RennTiger 163. This is the board I should've bought first. A great, forgiving board for learning, and just fun all-round and for crowded or narrow slopes. Price reflects that while the board is in good condition, base and edges are getting a bit thin. I've owned this for several years, ridden it a lot, and only hand-tuned, so there's still lots of life and snap in it. The last base grind would've been pre- my ownership, but obviously, it's had at least a couple. I made one ptex repair to the base which is indistinguishable. Base is coated in storage wax. Binders not included. A great board, especially for a beginning or lighter rider. I am 160lbs and loved it, but it would work for someone considerably lighter or a little heavier.
  15. Sold! Thanks, Reid!
