  1. Glad y'all are getting out! Turns out my 4 pak got returned in the mail. Only took them a week to get back to me, but it is safe in the ticket office. I really want to come see all y'all, but I'm doing my best to wait for more runs. Got out to Vail on Friday and it was reasonably fun. Decent snow, a few runs, and nobody acting a fool. Rachel is till a good month away from skiing shape so trying to find the motivation to go solo is tough.
  2. So my physical therapist says I need to try out bail bindings instead of intec due my erratic nature wrenching my rear knee around. I can also trade a nice condition pair of medium titanium intecs. Thanks for the help!
  3. Super cool! I bet that was a beautiful day on the course. First two wheel golf kart I've seen.
  4. Those look like they'd protect you from the hottest pizza pie! Have you ever seen b.free's EC gloves? Similar but covered in a rubbery type coating.
  5. Thank you for the existential reflection. I now realize that no, things really have come full circle.
  6. All kidding aside, I ordered a 4 pak on Oct 18th and still have not received it. Having trouble getting in touch with the appropriate authorities. Has anyone else experienced such dire hardships?
  7. I was still playing with blocks and eating dirt.
  8. When do they open? DO I NEED A RESERVATION?!?!?!?!?!?!
  9. Cool collection! I see you are also a man of style and taste. +10 Push Points. Not much cooler than pushing it to life and just setting off into the sunset!
  10. Sucks, but probably a good thing. Just think how nice the ribbon of death will be when they can open, and we have so much more time to do squats!
  11. Wow look at Mr Fancy over here Im hoping to score an older Lexus for a daily once one of my Subies gives up the ghost. Thanks for the oil tip. Im going to try it in my 2000 Legacy (designed for 5w30). Only issue with the motor is some piston slap while cold and it burns some oil (Subaru life). Do you think it would be ok in a newer engine (2013,160,000 mi) that was designed for 0w20? Economy isn't my main concern, but keeping the engine running healthy is.
  12. Gee wiz man. Glad you made it out of that one. Bummed for you loss of activity, but being alive is being alive. I work post-cath and most infarctions make sense but every once in a while we get one like you, fit as a fiddle and no family history. Those are the scary ones. I'm sorry this happened to you, but thank you for sharing as a precautionary tale.
  13. Oh no Razz, that sucks! Glad yall are alright. Get a beater to last you until the new bronco is available! Can't go wrong with a 4runner though even though the new ones are awfully bloated.
  14. The legend is one of the best cars made. Its just got that quintessential 90s Japanese look that I love. We've been car payment-less for three years now and I've decided I'll do anything to keep from having another. At this point I have huge respect for anyone keeping their car alive. I wish I had something to post here, but my two main rides are old subarus that I'm just trying to see how far they will go for science sake.
  15. Nice, John, nice. If you ever want to let her go I'll drive down to Den in a second.
  16. I've been using a hacked up superfeet insole in my right boot for a few seasons now. works great no problems. I don't feel that its ever shifted or caused any hotspots and gives plenty of room for my fat foot.
  17. Better start boring a tunnel. I've got a few extra shovels.
  18. Are we going to be able to see our Canadian brethren this year? Whats the current boarder hopping situation?
  19. The title is a question, but the post is all statements. Are you sharing findings or asking permission from the collective consciousness? I mount my F2 mounting discs longitudinally too to help dial in the bias even on my narrow boards. Occasionally I've even linked a few turns together so it must be working. I'm glad someone is getting some turns in. I started getting the snow itch this week since we are socked in by a wildfire.
  20. You are within size range for the board. Ride it and have fun. I personally like the short pow sticks for real snow. They turn on a dime and float fine since they don't have a tail.
  21. You won't have a bad time. Some of the runs can be intimidating, but once you get the flow of the mountain its fine. There is this one run you could probably drive 6 semis down side by side. I would classify it as a mellow blue in Colorado terms.
