  1. nm, found one. $12 shipping, but it is what it is. https://www.langtools.com/sku-50-2620-0005-metric-rethreading-tap-m6-x-1-00/
  2. Not a review thread, more of a "where can I find one that's not part of a $100 set?" post. Looking for a thread chaser to fix a couple of corroded threads in stainless steel inserts. I can find all sorts of cutting taps, but I'm not looking to remove more material, a chaser is what I'm after. The only M6 x 1 thread chasers I can find are part of a larger set running over $100, would prefer to just buy the single item I need. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Please, no links to cutting taps.

Thank you. Should be just the thing for this winter's beer league, now I just have to remember not to ride it like a Thirst. I'm sure it will remind me if I don't weight shift front to back.

    I'll take it. PM sent
  6. Mr. Miller calls that finish "Straticarvius".
  7. New from the talented Mr. Miller. XC waist is 18.7, 8RW waist is 18.5. Both have Mark's flex index right around 0.25
  8. SG also has the newer Black model, fits right in with what you're looking for: https://www.sgsnowboards.com/snowboards/b-l-a-c-k/ A new board purchase will probably not be advisable until you've sorted out the characteristics your looking for, but if you come across one of these used it would be worth a look. The used market is great for trying out different lengths, SCR, shapes, etc. You can often resell for close to what you paid. ps. The SG FullCarve 170 is a nominally 15.8m SCR. Great board, but larger a radius than I think you're currently looking for.
  9. Got to say the lifties at Meadows this year have been great; tons of "those boards are awesome", "love the way you guys ride those", but the best was night riding a few weeks ago and being told by the liftie that "hardbooters can skip the line and use the patrol entrance".
  10. Not likely, I saw the pictures; images of external fixators always make me queasy, but when Sean @Treebeard was telling me he had a doc-mandated schedule of when and how much he had to take a wrench to the adjustment bolts, I had to tell him to stop or I was going to spit beer
  11. I've got these sitting around, previously were in a UPZ 26.5. I'm unsure how much life they have left in them, but might be a cheap way to tell if this type of liner is for you. They have about 80-100 days on them, been molded once, and spot molded in a cpl of places on the lateral side of the foot, but they should be good for one more trip with a heated bag of rice. They have unused Intuition 5mm footbeds in them (these have a 2mm sole and come with a set of 5mm removable beds). You can have them for the price of UPS shipping from 97215, not keen on standing in line at the post office to save $10 on the shipping charges.
  12. It just so happens I do have a set of these, came off a set of 24.5 boots I bought a few seasons ago for my SO, immediately swapped them out for new style single bolt red tongues. They show signs of wear, but still look serviceable. No idea what to ask for them, make me a low offer and I'll probably say yes, glad to pass them on.
  13. I try and get up to the hill as often as possible (quantity), but then quit as soon as I start to get tired and begin to ride (even more) poorly (quality). Don't want to ingrain bad habits brought on by fatigue: "practice doesn't make perfect, it only makes permanent"...
  14. I had to drill an extra set of holes in the heel section of each plate. I used the heel plate as a guide to mark the pilot holes: The end result with the heel moved much closer to the toe. All in all, I ended up using the smaller size F2 Race Ti, but now just go with the SG bindings. Those are adjustable between small and large with no parts needed, are the same fit as the Race Ti, but are just better built. I'll own those bindings for 20 years, so the extra $150 seems cheap (I'll never break a T-nut on the SGs).
  15. Got them in the mail today, nice quick shipping, in good shape, and all parts present and accounted for; shims, heel & toe lifts, bolts, covers, etc. Would definitely buy from this seller again.
  16. I'll take them. PM sent.
  17. Two more registered (Shawnalee and I) and paid up today. Determined to make this work somehow, never thought I'd wished I owned an RV...
  18. Too rich for my blood at this time. Maybe I'll be able to spring for a pair someday.
  19. What would you like for the zipfits? (Didn't you buy those UPZ stock liners from me a few years back?)
  20. I think the system now has an updated message about "too early"; as a web developer, I can see how you'd want an different error message about the store not being open yet for the day, but the 1.0 version of the website on the first day would easily confuse "yesterday was sold out" with "it's too early for today's passes to be available yet". Yup, looks like at least it has a more informative message: I'll be trying a couple of time this week at 9:00:01.
  21. Has anyone won the Timberline lottery yet and made it up there? It looks like it sells out in a minute or less.
  22. Just got back from 3 days at Anthony Lakes. Will be going back next year, most likely more than once. For a single-chair hill, it's got a ton of variety for carving. Grooming was really good, no crowds even on Sunday, and super-cheap. I ended up with 12 lift tickets for $187. Here's a shot of what happens when you arrive 30 minutes after opening on a bluebird Sunday: we ended up twice as far from the lodge compared to the day before. Hard times indeed.
  23. I have to thank @Keenan for bringing this to my attention. I just bought three days' worth of lift tickets for a family of four for the princely sum of $187. Total. For 12 tickets. It's like the 70s, but without the disco.
