I have the final 3 hole version 164 custom X. I love this board. Paid same amount one year ago. My last "production" board and by far, the best to date for all conditions. I never alter my stance based on conditions...

Ouch... I have been wearing a brain bucket since 95'. A skate helmet but a helmet none the less. Bono and Kennedy ate trees the following years. I have never "needed" mine but have always forgotten it was on moments after strapping the chin. I have seen many who wished they had done the same, a couple post-mortem. Glad to hear you were not picking up gray matter. I upgraded to a Ruroc full face this season but it had a defect and is under warranty. Wear protection, even on the hill:biggthump

Sorry, Soft booter here. I rode for the last several seasons ( with great inner knee pain on my front foot with 18/3. at 21.5". After switching over to 24/9 no pain and better edge control, even when riding switch. Thank you Mr. Gilmour. Sorry my flows on burton 3 hole couldn't go any narrower...:o

I drive a 2000 4matic Benz wagon (IMHO the best AWD wagon out there) And recently gave up my Yakima powderhounds and a metal basket for a used "space cadet" from yakima and I love it. yes my boards (all over 160) do not fit but EVERYTHING else does! Mileage and road noise are both better/quieter than before. 8 wingnuts internally to remove and access is very easy. If i want to go back to surfracks or re-install the hounds/ 10 minutes tops...

at the base area with a 4 year old and an 8 year old...just the way it is for a working Dad... i have a 164 custom x green base/ white top. you cant miss it...

I frequent Mt High but you will find that most people here frequent Summit. I ride primarily softboots and freestyle boards but you will find that regardless of what you come down the hill on, we are all committed to the edge for turning and not braking. Many of us are getting together next Sunday at Summit and I will be traveling from the OC or possibly Riverside on Sunday Morning. There will be many people with extra gear if you should decide to join us. I will have kids in tow tomorrow so you won't see much of me except at the base of East. Hopefully you decide to ride with us and start living life "on the edge"
