  1. I will take it if its an XL. Perfect for me at MTHigh/So Cal next spring...
  2. Looks like some sweet courdurock. Obviously, you were still carving...Thanks for the tip! The old Burton Custom is going to get a workout...
  3. I'm not going to touch this one. Ok... it's possible. 24/9 with flows=no heel cup drag. But I do get a bit of a warble in my heelside especially when the legs are done for the day
  4. Last hoorah of the season. Bring your rock board. I'll be there early and done early to buy my pass for next season. It's been a fun winter despite the lack of snow. If I win the lottery, I may do a summer camp session at hood. Have a great summer Bol'ers. I'll be surfing Bolsa and the cliffs all summer
  5. Absolutely fantastic. Bringing back the stoke. It will be a long dry summer and this will bring me to a happy place.Especially on the warmest of days. Thank you John! And of course, all who participated and those who could not. We obviously had fun without you. JK. Can't wait for SNES 2013!!!!
  6. I know they must be available. I would kill to go to summer camp. I worked for many years at Blackcomb for Kelly Jo back in the 90'S but that was at freestyle camps. I want to go as a camper and ride alpine. Thoughts?
  7. Thanks Timeless. I currently ride a 164 custom X and like it a lot. I had been riding a 10th anniversary custom 62 and it is superior in every way but a little skidd-erish? The Custom X has a flat spot at each foot in the sidecut and although it makes a great arc, between carves if I get off it even a little, it swims and has scared me at speed a few times... I also ride a Burton Fusion 165/ Spent most of my time on it at SNES/June Carver Classic 2 weeks ago and really got to like it. Kind of my hard boot gateway board although ridden with flows at 33/18. I am looking to replace the Custom X. I refuse to buy off the rack again. There are too many custom manufacturers available not to. Also, my 8.5 shoe and 210lb frame does not leave much to offer from the production board companies. I want the best blend of technology and don't have the cash to keep ordering board after board in order to get it right. I like the shape of the Kessler bx and ride series (much like the Donek inclines I saw at SNES)With de-cambered/blunted tip and tail. I heard that bamboo and carbon together are really poppy. I am guessing a lively and slightly dampened, glass/carbon board with a 9m radius would be good. Say a 165 /eff edge 130-136 waist 24.7. Otherwise, I will keep riding my 3 hole relics and wait for a genie in a bottle to grant me a magic carpet that slays groomers and crud, pow and moguls, at speed riding switch... Any advice or help here would be greatly appreciated. Summer is a bummer for snowboarders... Help give me the knowledge to make an educated decision on my first custom deck.
  8. I am available to send check/money order offer to the responsible Bol'er or bar of choice for June Patrol, grooming appreciation.

  10. So, does anyone want to venture out and suggest a softboot, all around (switch riding 35% of the time and shallow angles 21/9) very aggressive 200 pounder that likes a very lively and grippy board. I am not your typical softbooter. What would be the best construction?

  14. My Benz loves the snow. 20 city/20-27 highway. carries all and in style. 13 years old/150,000 miles and still getting compliments
  15. Great times for sure. Hanging out with you all was the best. I had such a great time. I hope to get up at least a day before the season is over but that will probably have to be Mt High. Nice to ride and hang with such great people. I had a smile on my face the entire time. I think watching all the individual styles was awesome to see. Flying down Matterhorn with George and Gunsmoke on Saturday afternoon was absolutely memorable. I hope to attend any and all future CCC events.
  16. Great Day! Sorry you won't be up tomorrow. Really fun time to say the least
