  1. I have $0.02! Just kidding. Lets see it KLAM
  2. Got the 106 anyway. Too late to stop the shipping and decided to keep it. Works great too! Still waiting on the Bennets.
  3. Thanks for the info! I really enjoy going for a skate again. Something has been missing since giving up skating bowls about a year or two ago. Too high of a risk (not that flying around on the street or walk paths is any safer) can't wait to receive the goods and start tweaking on it. Thanks again all.
  4. They stock the outer springs only. If I could actually get my hands on a set of trucks, I might know what I'm talking about...
  5. My local hardware store carries all the springs I just need the trucks
  6. New set of bennett 5.0 black trucks and a tracker rts 106 on the way...Could not find the seismic to save my life. any tuning advice would be appreciated (bushings/risers) Went for a cruise yesterday in Huntington on the strand and saw a guy all geared up for LDP. I was barefoot and in boardshorts... I'm looking forward to tinkering!
  7. I would like to reserve a couple days if possible. It will be a bummer this year without you at The High. I guess I will have to shralp it without you. I wish you all the best. I too want to know how you will support the extracurricular activities... NIGHT JANITORIAL anywhere!!! If MMSA actually puts anyone back on the payroll... I have your BX deck btw...
  8. I can find bennett's all day long however, seismic trucks are completely unavailable. Why is that?
  9. Must be nice at 136...I need to order trucks, bushings, risers and hardware. I am in the 200lb club and cannot find a skate shop locally that has anything close. What specific Bennett front truck should I get and a seismic rear is a little costly
  10. I just got this complete/ with smaller wheels and wide reverse kingpin trucks. I had some old trucks that I slapped on and took it for a spin. A complete deck OTD $115 built to order. These are locally/US made and did I mention affordable!. Check them out. They just happened to pop up on my navigation on the iPhone. Not right for LDP yet, but was a blast just cruising around. http://www.ehlerslongboards.com/
  11. Sorry to hear. Lost my cat a few months ago. They may be gone now but never forgotten.
  12. I just set up a second hand deck that was subsequently stolen after a week of fooling around on it. Lost half my work tools too but insurance is kicking in and I am starting from scratch
  13. So true. Over zealous development with only quick profits in mind has hurt so many. This is another example of greed. On the other note about riding less favorable conditions at local so cal resorts like Mountain High/Wrightwood CA, let's me develop my riding. Freefall and Headwall at Mt High West are rarely crowded as the less capable jib, jump and skid crews don't like the steeps. I love gouging these two runs every time I go ( if East is closed ) I usually get up to High about 25 days of my 30 or so days a season and typically run about 16-25 laps on the High Speed Quad depending on fatigue and conditions. It might be fun to get anyone local to come to the High instead of Summit. Hey! Just had an idea. 2 day SNES or SCES with one day at Summit and one day at Mountain High. Just a thought. Side, side note...I have been working on and dabbling with LDP skateboards this off season( thanks for the deck Arclite and Carving Chef ) and have really enjoyed it. Just fluid weaving without pumping is a great workout and ZEN like for the mind. Hope you all have a great summer and SAVE JUNE!
  14. My pass at Mt High just keeps looking better? I never thought it possible.
  15. Wow...A sad tale. Sucks that it is a reality. June rocked for sure! SNES at Mammoth...? Um ya, get in line...
  16. Rode one of these back in the "late-earlies" aka 1988-1995. I remember blunting it... (cutting the tip and tail with a jig saw) as that was popular at the time. Shortened the board and shaved some weight. a fun, forgiving board.
  17. Board arrived. Donek is extremely fresh...Stiff is right but if it has unreal edge hold, I will like it! Thanks.
  18. www.ruroc.com I did a review in the gear area last year. Convertible face mask... I love mine and removing the mask after each run is the best part. Sorry about the face plant. Sorry to thread hijack but... Sean, I just bought the Bamboo core, custom FC 165 from Big Canuck. Any construction/dims/info would be appreciated. I plan to hardboot on it but I am seriously considering riding it in softies. I bought this in lieu of a custom as it seemed close to where I wanted to begin diving into tailored/customized boards.
  19. Can't find your PM. I like it for $375 shipped...I'm assuming those are stickers on the tail? BTW... Nice video. I like the aggressive riding/ felice lance @ g mail dot com
