Yes Darwin on the left. 26 waist. 159. I thought it was small before banging through moguls and trees. Also the camber that sits more towards directly under the rear foot like most of the Alloy's helps it float. The Do's for everyday all the time and the AZX is just the most stable SB board out there. I watch all of the Moss/Japanese style riders boards wiggle and shudder and you watch the Koreans and sometimes me... not fighting it at all. They all ride super smooth . I still haven't figured out the Hermes on the right. 162 Carver/flat ground trick board. I'm not as nimble as i used to be so the ground trick game is lost on me

This guy IMHO was a ripper before he adopted this style. He broke his femur last season using the body drag/outrigger technique by steering (orlack there of) into a bamboo pole/ropeline on the fringe. I get the huge sidecuts but laying on the snow or outrigger technique is just scary and asking for trouble. "don't pat the dog"

I have upped my angles on my daily (have qty 2x-Alloy DO 165) to 39/27 on DO #2 from 36/24 on DO #1 and on my dedicated Go-fast carver (Alloy AZX1 163) to 42/30 from 39/27. Lets see if that helps on the burn...I still like 12* of splay

Katie and I will be flying back to Bishop from Colorado to ride. Katie is doing a 3 day women's clinic with one of our friends who is a level 3 instructor at Mammoth. Why? (she rides with The Legendary LCI most weekends) To support a good friend and to visit family in Lone Pine and our LA/Mammoth friends. Im sure i will do at lease Saturday or Sunday at June. Anyone planning months in advance? Probably just my wife...She rips so its all good!
