we know when we don't see you that you are exercising years of knowledge and terrain that has been earned. Thank you for sharing your home break with us a few days a year. we do appreciate it! Hopefully see you for at least a few turns later this week.

I have a 94' slopestyle that was Craig's personal board. 171 with barbed wire base, a gloss finish with no topsheet serial numbers/only on the base, upside down and backwards visible through the base at the tail of the board. Have had it for many years and have proof from a couple OG's when we all worked Kelly's Camp back in the 90's. Was given to my best friend who rode it quite a bit before hanging it up and giving it to me. Bathed in storage wax, fully tuned and cleaned up around the top sheet edges... just waiting for that day, where it goes back out for one more lap. If I ever go to Revelstoke, I will gift it to the lodge.

One week and counting.... Not sure if we ride Copper on the way (staying in Glenwood) on Wednesday 2/7 or just mob all the way there.

PhK came up with the mix binding that has traditional base/heel up/straps with a metal honeycomb highback and a BTS style spring for forward lean. It looks good but also a little clunky as the spring protrudes quite a bit form the center of the high back. Seems like it could have been located better so as not to boot out. Would take a lot to do so but of course a small batch European production has made them unobtainable

Was talking about ride el here breaking. I break my flows too. None this season though… nx2 flows are my go to but my next purchase will be supermatics/ waiting until next season

Broke mine in 2 hours day 1. El hefe carbon highbacks both cracked. Not broken but not up to the task. One of the few experiments away from flow over the last 27 years on flow that pretty much went the same way. Only bindings that held up were Nidecker carbon 900 from 10+ years ago. Stuff breaks but the el hefe’s went way too fast

Sunday Funday 1/21/24 Happy Birthday Iceman! joined by Mario, Ink, Dennis, Katie and I with New Hillary and New Old Guy Deven. It was low vis up top but soft and friendly carving with some fun to be had in the trees. Chet's to Ptarmigan to 6 and back to Chet's was the tempo for the day with 3-5 on each. I thought Richards and the bottom of Roulette offered the best terrain while Katie and Hillary found the stash in the trees off 6. I slapped into a toeside Mario rut at one point on Ptarmigan that nearly sent me... Thankfully, I recovered without incident. I did locate some missing children at the bottom of that trench though, that were later reunited with their group. All in, a fun day with Birthday Laps food and drink in the Rathskellar. Can't wait to do it again! Kevin cannot buy fries on his Birthday ever again and thanks for sharing a Pitcher with us Dennis!

Dropped a set into my ride insanos. Not a huge difference but good difference. Thanks for getting them out so quickly!

Short bussin’ this past Thursday. Best chair 3 I have ever ridden. My son was riding one of my alloys. A big step up for him.

Super fun this past Sunday. Mild temps and sunny and seemed like the masses just stayed home or left for home post holiday. Ice, Mario, Odd Job, Katie and I rounded out the group. Never found ruts or ice out there. We all took one more it was so much fun. A toast at the Rathskellar and met some new friends as well. Sorry, I forgot the couples names but was a great way to close out 2023. Hope you all had a great New years Eve and we always look forward to more days on the hill with such a great crew!

Rode yesterday. Sold out by noon. Terminal intermediate head on a swivel riding. Watched 6 people walk down chair 3. Back up friday

12/10/23 Met up with Mario and ice. Made a few laps on Mambo and Richards. Goggles and coats were getting iced up rapidly. We survived the impending mediocrity of the crowd and called it early. I went down to 3 on my way out. Twist was fantastic. Still my favorite run at Loveland. Did 6 or 7 and called it. I need a midweek Pre Christmas break day
