Here is my write up from a previous post
So I traveled to Uganda this summer and spent 2 days in Dubai. Well if you love the snow you have to go right? Well I did. To start the equipment is horrible, I know it has been a while since a dawned soft boots but wow noodle is a word.
If you are a germaphobe you should dress warm and avoid the rental clothes. It is like pulling a bowling shoe over your body. But the experience is great. It was 115 deg. outside and 25 deg. inside. Quit a thermo engineering marvel.

I am talking to Bruce about a monster right now. I would like to hear more about how this differs from the stock specs. I am looking at a 185 length undecided on width.
It may be the shaft at the bails is getting worn out. I have had that problem. I thought the bindings were moving and they weren't it was play in the shaft.
I think you need a big name already in the industry supporting hard boots. Jermy Jones has spoken of his early days racing in hard boots. Damien Sanders rocked hard boots. Until you have that big name pushing the limits in alpine gear it will be a hard sell. Who can get TGR to sponsor a heli trip with just hard booters slashing big powder turns. I will volunteer to go! Maybe we need to get Travis Rice on a big Undertaker and some hardboots.
Well to follow up with the rub. I was the lucky winner of a custom coiler in the raffle, the question of the day after speaking with Bruce is do i go with the Am or the Monster. I can have the board in march of this year. Thank you Bruce for such an awesome prize. The next question is what top sheet to go with? Wish i was an artist!
I want to say thanks to Dave and Christine for all there hard work to organize this event. I know there where many others who also helped, but with out there efforts many of us would have never experienced such a great time at this event. The amount of local support that they got from the entire town of Libby is amazing.
Thank you for a amazing experience. Can't wait to do it again.
PS. Dave I hope you know what you have signed up for. Lots of future Montucky Clear CUT events.
I had over 20 runs on Tuesday and another 20 on Wednesday. Had a fresh line every run. Day 4 and the legs are starting to wish for groomers. Heli trips don't offer this much vertical a day.
This was a big deal. I know people who witnessed the incident. I don't understand how someone thinks this is going to end well. I witnessed a local at Snowbird that same weekend screaming and yelling at people to get off his mountain. The rapid growth of Salt Lake is creating a lot of traffic. Salt Lake had 57k people move there last year . Just over 1k people a week. Something tells me it isn't going to get better any time soon.
Don't over think your purchase. Many of us on this forum have built several custom boards. If you don't like the board after you ride it pass it along and build your next board, if it is horrible talk to Sean about how to improve on those things and I am sure he will work with you. Enjoy the new board and keep an open mind.
I have gone to the Intuition HD Race tounge liners and have been very happy
I needed a low volume liner and these were picked by my fitter. Zero complaints.They were also thinner in the fore foot which was a problem area.
I have built many boards with Sean. Warranty would be the least of my worries. You get everything you want in 10-14 days. I have 2 hazelwoods that I have over 100 days each on (and they are still in great shape). The quality of the materials makes the boards last. I have had 3 people go to Donek after riding mine and order there own.
Disclaimer;
Performance of custom boards causes poor financial planning. You may decided to build your own custom quiver. It can be adictave!
