  1. I believe we need 18 more. Last count was 32. How many chances in your life can you say you rented the whole mountain for 4 days!!!!!!
  2. Come on guys let's make this happen. We are so close.??????
  3. No late comers! Fund it and enjoy????. Unless we really like them!
  4. We could all pay 170 extra dollars, close the registration and have a private mountain for 32 of us!!!!!
  5. If there was a 2 year option I would pay that now. If it helps support the start up I would be all for it.
  6. Order number 24, seems like everyone is willing to sign up pretty quick
  7. Isn't this basically theft? He's creating a knock-off of something patented From my understanding there is no patent on the bindings. This was part of the issue with the sale.
  8. I put them over the liners and made a significant difference. The first time in ten years i don't have heel lift.
  9. That's a lot of coilers in one place. Looks like you guys have Bruce's schedule locked up.???
  10. You need Panda Poles made from Bamboo so you are environmental friendly.
  11. I ride with one other carver at Snowbird half of the time, but it seems I am alone with my thoughts more often then not.
  12. Donek hazelwood is my go to. I have 2 and love them.
  13. Sean is the way to go. He will have you a board In less then 2 weeks. I have a Coiler 184 monster and a Donek 180 freecarve in secret construction. Both boards are amazing Sean just has a production line that is efficient. I also have 2 other custom hazelwoods from Donek.
  14. I have finally put some time on my new Hazelwood. Some background This is my 2nd Hazelwood Sean has made for me. I am 220 lbs. 1st Hazelwood was 190cm long, 24 CM wide, 10-12 VSR with 1 inch of taper. I rode this board as my all mountain/ powder board for 3 seasons. The board is great but I wanted something I Could ride all day and not require the same real estate. 2nd Hazlewood 185 CM long, 23 CM wide, 9-11 VSR, and one inch of taper. The difrence between these machines is incredible the small hazelwood is an absolute blast but lacks the float of the original. The diffrence in edge transition with only 1 CM diffrence is mind blowing. The 1 meter smaller side cut radius makes a huge difference that I did not expect. Both of the Hazelwoods are great boards, the difference small changes in dimensions gives me a new appreciation for all of the effort to select something everyone can enjoy. I can say that my first coustom board was a guess and my 2nd and the 3rd have helped my understand what changes make a board what you want. Thank you to Donek and Sean specifaclly for designing a product that can be fine tuned over time. Warning custom boards are addictive!
  15. I voted for three but am also enjoy number 2.it all depends on what the snow god's want me to enjoy that day. I also come to this site to deal with my snowboard addiction. During dry spells of snowboarding I don't know what to do with myself.
  16. OK so I have about 5 days on this board. Specs. 180 Donek FreeCarve Secret 11-14 VSR 21.5 width. Made for 200 lbs. Rider First impressions is this board is fast and damp. It is incredible quick to accelerate. This is the first alpine board that I feel made me a better rider. The edge hold is very impressive. I have noticed this board loves to use the nose to initiate the turn, get on the tip and the board comes around quickly. I have spent several days tailgunning a fellow hardbooter on a 184 Coiler Monster with similar specs and I find it very easy to match turn spacing. Although I have noticed that the FC has a much tighter turn at initation and easies off after words. The FC is substantially stiffer then the Monster. I have spent many days riding the Monster and I find that allows for a much more casual ride and I feel like a could break the nose if I really leaned into it, the fc does not have that feeling. Now to the Secret Construction. Overall the board feels very stiff and the build quality is what you would expect from Donek(outstanding). I don't know what is happening on the inside but the feeling is very damp but alive. It seems to soak up bumps and crud very well. It is also very fast with out much vibration. The board seems to transition across diffrent conditions without missing a beat. Thank you Sean for another high quality board. I plan to do some back to back runs on the Monster and the FC in the near future and will give additional feedback when I can.

And they say Snowbird isn't good for carving. Luv.my home mountain
  18. One it sounds like the start of a bad joke. My entire group is a mix of hardbooters skiers and soft booters and we can all tear it up the skiers enjoy trying to match my lines and the softbooters just try to keep up.
  19. Did that last year under the lift on a powder day. Had a small ice ball under heel with only 1 pin engaged.
