  1. What size shell boot did these come off? Curious if there is more than one cuff size? I've got all blue RC11s and these might be a nice way to dress them up. Appearances are everything, right?
  2. It's relisted here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/155247819584
  3. My buddy here in Ottawa chose to do similar. Went to Montreal and paid out of pocket to get it done quicker. He says it was totally worth the money. In retrospect, he figures he should have done it at least a year earlier. He was pretty well hobbled and gaining weight by the time he went to Quebec.
  4. I already checked when it was listed at $100, she won't ship... https://www.kijiji.ca/v-snowboard/oakville-halton-region/coiler-snowboard/1630287242 Needs to be picked up TODAY.
  5. SV650 is a great choice, buddy just upgraded to the café style SV650X from a Duke 390. Lots of aftermarket support, make it how you want.
  6. Yah, pedal bikes here too... a year ago today google tells me:

Yah, dude is done. Pretty damning statements from affected athletes.
  8. I tried... both Walker at Bomber and Dan at UPZ have been great for shipping costs on small orders. I asked Andrea if there was a lower cost option vs the system generated $35 on a $70 item. I ship a fair bit of stuff, buying and selling, so I have an understanding of the costs but she said often loses money on shipping and it cuts into profits. Granted, I had shown her another vendor that offered $5 shipping on a similar item but I wasn't expecting anything that extreme. I'd have payed $20 shipping but $35 is steep for that size of a package... I'll see about picking one up in person next time I'm in TO.
  9. Yah, I was wondering if I would have greater confidence with the new tech board that has what I understand is better edge holding capabilities compared to my 20 y.o. burtons...
  10. Re #1 - I don't like steeps today as I don't have the confidence. Was tired yesterday riding at a different hill ( @loopback 's home hill Calabogie Peaks) and couldn't muster up the courage to set the edge as there some fairly hardpack/icy spots. Will a Contra help me overcome some of that reluctance to commit?
  11. I'm using the Shoxxter Plus from UPZ. No slippage as it's a ratchet/buckle strap.
  12. Check Kijiji? https://www.kijiji.ca/v-snowboard-planche-a-neige/ville-de-quebec/planche-a-neige-race/1596633449 https://www.kijiji.ca/v-snowboard-planche-a-neige/ville-de-quebec/planche-a-neige/1605221400
  13. Just trying to educate myself. Sent Bruce info about my current setups in early February.
  14. Curious on this point - were they all made for you / your weight? But with varying degrees of extra or less stiffness? Or some are boards built for others with a different flex number? I guess that's the same thing - curious what flex / length you feel to be best for all around?
  15. Still waiting to hear back...
  16. I asked Andrea at YYZ about lower cost shipping but it wasn't an option. I'd consider picking one up next time I'm down to TO.
  17. If i understand correctly, the CDN distributor is near Montreal. Maybe coordinate with a trip so you can try them on. Agreed that trying to purchase footwear online is terrible if you don't already know the correct sizing, particularly in something as critical as alpine boots.
  18. Yah, I've been through the threads from the different years. Was curious about yours.
  19. Friday night the 18th? I've got a bunch of the $10 companion passes I'm happy to let folks use.
  20. Pics of your custom graphic? I'm looking for ideas...
  21. We got almost 10cm of fresh overnight... couldn't convince daughter to go to the hill this evening though. She has no idea still at 10 y.o.
  22. These were for transport in the back of the SUV or in the larger wheeled travel bag I have - primarily to protect edges/base. I've ordered a second now. But I'll take a look at the Dakine as well, thanks.
