  1. For reference, this is how small fits me. Looks like I'm closer to 155lbs with the extra 5lbs of dad bod belly fat I'm carrying currently
  2. Just arrived in Canmore tonight. Flew red-eye from SLC Thursday night to Ottawa via Newark NJ. Board bag got stuck in Newark... Drove to Toronto Friday afternoon in a snowstorm. Realized board hadn't left Newark yet and asked airline to redirect it here directly. I had planned to bring my Prior with TD3 Sidewinders, but without a second bag big enough, skipped it... I liked Brighton better for night skiing. More terrain to choose from. I rode the Crest chair for the 2hrs I could fit in. If I would have had more time, I'm sure there was a lot more to ride on the other side as well.
  3. Brighton was awesome tonight. Memorable evening, only got in just under two hours but so good. Was dumping on the drive up. Was worried it'd be too soft for the Contra but had a blast. Right up til I was hustling for last chair and dug the nose in sharply and ended up augering... felt my front ankle pop in the boot Called it a night and rolled back to the hotel. Haven't taken off my compression socks yet, took some Vitamin I, and icing it now. Headed to the Canadian Rockies on Sat - hopefully its good enough to ride with the kids by Monday
  4. I would consider trying Brighton tomorrow night but am wondering about the forecasted snow? Will it get choppy, how are the runs there? I'm staying in Pleasant Grove so Brighton is about an hour from my hotel, longer if snowing I guess.
  5. Board bag is at the hotel so I am a go for this evening.
  6. Board has arrived in SLC - looks like it should be en route to hotel shortly.
  7. My board bag got stuck in Denver yesterday. Expecting it to arrive later this morning at the hotel...
  8. I've been to a few games, not lately though. Was asking @Johno212 if he might be able to make it out as well. More bang for the back with the Outlaw Express?
  9. maybe @johnasmocould clarify for us? Also, I forget what Bruce told me is the basic configuration of the variable sidecut on standard Contras? Is it tight at nose or tight at tail? I understood it was basically three different radii (though it adjusts every inch) but I don't recall the relative orientations of those curves?
  10. Folks that have received theirs, true to size? Trying to decide between S and M for myself... 5'6" 150lbs. Prob going Medium but if they're on the loose side, S is fine. Assuming they are the 100% poly, not the 50/50? https://www.jerzees.com/shop/p/dri-power-unisex-long-sleeve-polyester-t-shirt/21MLR
  11. I should be good to leave the office in Pleasant Grove by 6 latest. Probably 530. Can drive direct to Sundance.
  12. UPZ XC12 287mm shell, 6.5 liner in Like New condition I picked up these boots in a package deal. They're too big for me so I'm reselling. 287mm shell, Flo liner is marked 6.5. I can't find XC12 specific size chart but I expect the one posted should be good. Price is US$400 plus shipping. I will give priority to local sale or someone around SLC Utah that can pick up in person. I'm flying down for work next week, staying in Pleasant Grove until Thursday March 9th. 13. Max might be overstating it. My boots have 3 fixed positions, using the most lean on rear, least on front. I ride regular foot. Never had issue that I can recollect for long toeside turns, but no longer have the same issues I had with wobbly heelside carves.
  14. Yah, I'm 5'6" so considerably shorter. I will look to widen it up still, but baby steps. Couple new boards this year so I wanted to keep changes isolated as best I could.
  15. I sorted out my boot lean and front toe lift. Widened my stance by 1/2" to 18 1/2". May try 19" later. But the boot lean was huge - zero lean on front, max forward lean for rear foot. Next run heelside carves were amazing. Wished I knew that before. I had been running similar forward lean (lots) in both boots for years.
  16. Based on today's snowfall, I might want to consider bringing a powder board too? That said, night skiing will be clearly all tracked out I would expect so just the Coiler will be the actual plan I think.
  17. My travel is booked. Arrive Sun night late, leave Thurs evening after work. So, I should be able to ride Mon and Weds evenings.
  18. Awesome. Ok, so maybe both nights?
  19. sorry, my company ski passes are unavailable to me for the Weds evening, already spoken for.
  20. Looks light night skiing only M/W/F. If I get down, will know this week, likely looking at Monday night, March 6th. (weds night passes are n/a)
