  1. SOLD: APEX X PLATE - Allflex Rides beautifully and takes out the noise and nails edge hold. The fit and finish is superb. I personally don't feel any loss of snow feel, just a quiet ride. Matte top, carbon weave below. Lowest available floating plate at 1 cm ride height. Excellent condition, light scratches here and there, but no chips, dings or issues. Comes with plate to board mounting hardware. (Red bumpers can be set for goofy or regular). Usually the floating pivots go forward. Holes for narrow and wide Allflex & Vist patterns. $685 shipped to USA, paypal friends or venmo. RJNakata (art) aol (dart) com SOLD SOLD
  2. @Neil Gendzwill Do you feel the X + Ion combo provides a versatile ride? Ie good for carving, powder, cruising? Are there any shortcomings flex-wise you see? Is it on the stiffer side of a standard Driver X + Genesis standard setup, would you say?
  3. Thanks for keeping an eye out! I looked into it. With shipping, tax (yes tax on FB purchases) it comes to within $85 of a new set compared apples to apples. I passed
  4. Like it says: wanted to buy USED Burton Step-on X medium bindings.
  5. Thanks, turned out not to be a good fit for me...
  6. Hi, I'm looking for a pair of used DGSS springs for UPZ with green springs. Please email at RJNakata (art) aol (dart) com Thanks!
  7. I have been notified by email from IKON that 22/23 passes go up on April 23
  8. While the parking lot and J1 access chair can get heavy, the June slopes are amazingly uncrowded even on holiday weekends...maybe a 5 min max line at J7 but never a line elsewhere. Superior grooming and quality snow are the norm. Also a little closer to Tahoe than Mammoth via the Kingsbury grade. Midweek is a ghost town. Approach Mammoth on the weekends like you would Heavenly. Straightliners aplenty, merging trails and plenty of noobs keep your head on a swivel. I'm not sure what it means but is seems as if the official vehicle of the Mammoth crowd is a newish Audi SUV with racks on top. The June vehicle is a pickup or Subaru.
  9. I'm still looking for another pair of RED SOFT size small. The ones I got are like rubber when compared to the black and they did soften things up (that and the DGSS springs). There is another thread expressing concern that they are too soft and therefor can't protect the ankles.
  10. Not sure how we missed you at June Saturday. We were in the trees off of chair 4 a lot, but carved it on Sunday. Pretty great conditions. Missed meeting you!
  11. Does this show fixed in the middle with "floating" at the extremities?
  12. Some positions will accommodate 4 bolts if you're concerned about 3.
  13. When you're taking a softie day, what do you say to an unsuspecting carver?
  14. BEWARE there is ANOTHER scam "Solicitor" out there: peterwilliams Started conversation: 2 minutes ago hello i got red tongue MP23-26 for sale very affordable if interested send a mail on peterwilliams890 at aol dot com thank
  15. Whatever the material, it should be firm (not spongy). Plastic may be easier to fabricate.
  16. Based on the first photo you may have to do a lot (too much?) filing to get the sole to lie flat. A hard plastic shim between the sole plate and the boot shell might help (?)
  17. Helpful photos! Does the tip of the bail move forward if pushed hard? If so, try moving the heel receiver forward.
  18. During the team BX coverage, Seth Wescott said he proved in '06 that ankle flexibility is needed to win thus eliminating hardboots from BX. and...Congrats Lindsey and Nick Baumgartner! Old gals/guys rule!
  19. My sentiments exactly; I'm so happy for her and was pained by the continuing saga, until now! Now I have to fake not knowing the outcome when we all watch together tonight...I was warned in the thread title!
