  1. Did anyone go up today? Or going to MHM tomorrow for the last day? Coverage sounds thin again from the recent posts? Tell me how Meadows was today and I'll let you know how Timberline was. Its 1:00 and I'm home already. See you soon, Ed
  2. Sandy - Did you score a few of those white Tanker t-shirts? I found the new distributor info too. Although we all have better connections than that. ha! I wish! I've been very lucky to get mine. Rad Air 3588 Riverside Drive Columbus, OH 43221 (614) 451-0081, fax (614)586-0031 www.rad-air.com usa@rad-air.com Contact: Harry Gunz isn't Harry one of the founders of RA?
  3. I'm so glad you got your boards back. Its tough to find replacements for those ones. That is great news, D! Hope to see you soon, Ed
  4. Wow! That would be so fun to go to the Longboard Classic. Thats my way to live life. Traveling, chasing storms and riding longboards. Thanks for the update. I just rode my Tanker yesterday up on Palmer. yep, it rips. I just gotta find a way to go to that event every year.

    MHES?

I was up today. Fairly good coverage and if the weather stays mild for a few weeks, we should have plenty of area to roam and carve around like a bunch of crazed lunatics. Considering the conditions were cloudy at times, it was great carving on Palmer and the Magic Mile. Stormen Norman lift to the west was running, but no other lifts below the treeline were running. See ya all later -
  6. I'd love to hook up with you guys too. I can possibly meet up in WA, Portland or Bend. Since most of you are a few hours north, its a long shot. But I'd just like to say count me in if we could work it out. By chance are any of you going to MHES? Bring your bikes and your clubs, maybe? Ed
  7. Dude, you are set up good with that board. Stay busy this Summer and you'll be thinking less of the snow. A good pair of binoculars and a case of beer will make time go by fast. Its a fun habit. good luck with what works for you
  8. Hi Joel, I've sent you an e-mail. Thank you, Ed
  9. I love that! I have seen more neon this year. Not always on the skiers either. Your photo wins the award, bro!

    MHES?

Yea, I'll be there too! The last two days at Meadows have been awesome. Sick days, ya know? I think the boss bought it too. Thank goodness for the Jr. High drama class. It came in handy. See you all soon - Ed
  11. Anyone want to meet up at the "Huckleberry" at 7 or 7:30 on Tues. 4/12? Should be a good powder day so I want to get to the lift early. Meadows of course. If you don't make fun of my hardboots, maybe I'll buy you breakfast. lol (you don't count, Bryan. You've already burned your chances with your recent, I need step-ins comment last week) ha! Sorry about the short notice. If anyone sees my boss, tell him I'm really sick and you haven't a clue where I am. Hope to see you - Ed
  12. Sunday was a crazy day. It was tough to keep Bryan from going crazy from all the nutty people too. We had to cut the day short before a freak accident happened like you encountered. It was just a matter of time before someone ran into me or vice-versa. I'm glad you came out of it "almost" unscratched, Mike. See you all soon hopefully, Ed
  13. Great post, Thomas! I saw lots of Rich Ameteurs of the skiing kind today at Meadows. It was like opening day or something by the way people were acting today. I could ramble on about it. I hope to reach the Soul Surfer statis, but I probably wouldn't know it if I did. lol
  14. Yes, Bryan at http://www.oldsnowboards.com/ has one and maybe could help you out with pictures too. I know he does have a 175 and possibly a 165 in his collection of asym.s. Hope that helps.
  15. Yea, probably some tweeker from LaPine is looking at your Coiler thinking its a mono ski. Sorry to hear about it, D. I'll be checking Hood for your boards too. We'll get those skinny, scabby, hyper Mother F'ers!
  16. Hi Guys - I'll be up at Meadows on Fri. and Bachelor on Sun. thru Tues. Yippee!! I've been a stellar employee for two weeks. I deserve a break. lol! I'll see you bros up there! Ed
  17. I'm very envious of you all. I need to play "good employee" for a few more days until I can cut loose. Have I mentioned I need to quit this job thing? Its kinda a pain in my neck. Oh, well? The benefits are good. But days like this are very aggrevating. I'm so happy we are getting a some snow.
  18. Hi guys - Would you know what was the longest board Palmer made, either Boarder Cross or Freeride? Was it only 167cm.? Just thinking about adding one as another toy to play on. Know the feeling? I heard they we're more on the stiff side. Sounds like fun. Thanks- Ed N.
  19. Heres a similar pair I found in Deutchland, notice they say Racing on the highback part! http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=59769&item=5176847823&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW I'll do my best to get actual pictures ASAP. Thanks, Ed
  20. Raichle Concordia S model. Actually these boots are for AT, snowboard, or alpine skiing. Size 9.5 or 27.5 New Old Stock - 3 buckle - Vibram sole. Black with Grey highbacks and tonges. I thought they were going to fit me, but not as well afterall. The boots are about a half size too small, and I really don't want to sell them. I would be willing to trade for some Burton Race plates. Maybe another pair of boots size 10.5 Or an alpine or race board over 170 cm. My webmaster is out of town until next week. Please bear with me. The pictures are tied up in my camera. Help me find my boots a good home. $150 takes them away or best offer. Thank you, Ed Nolder
  21. I've been riding AT boots excusively since 92'. Not all brands are the best. The Raichles and Garmonts seem to have a natural forward lean design. They work great for me. I like to hike OB or into closed areas sometimes and it sure is better than the newer hard boots with no Vibram lug sole. Plus just walking around is better overall. Call me old fashioned. I started skiing with them too two years ago. Why change boots? Stiff boots are over-rated. FYI - if you wear a 9 and a half boot, I have a pair of Raichle AT boots for sale. Brand new old stock. I will post a classified ad next week, once I get a picture to download. Too small for me and the store tags said 10 and a half. damn!
  22. For you, I'd say the first choice should be a Rad-Air Tanker 172. Or maybe a Winterstick Tom Burt 172. Or howabout an Arbor signiture 170. just a thought.
  23. Yes, I have also admired that boot. Now I've been thinking of the Garmont Adrenalin AT. I just picked up a brand new pair NOS Raichle Concordia S. 3 buckle, black with grey tonges, size 9.5 But they are too small. They may show up on the Classifieds soon.
  24. Hi Mike - sounds great. Hope to see you. I'll be on 13/20 and I'll check 5/12.
