  1. They were on Hotel Impossible: https://www.travelchannel.com/shows/hotel-impossible/episodes/rocky-relationships
  2. After 20 minutes of trying, I have given up on uploading a picture. PM if interested.
  3. Bump. All mountain carver, needs a home.
  4. Ski magazine just named Schweitzer #11 in the country. I'm sorry.
  5. I moved from the Days Inn to La Quinta after two nights. It cost a little more but the rooms were much more quiet and nicer. I will pay more for good sleep. I stayed on mountain once, but there is nothing much to do, with limited dining. Downtown to the base is only 15-20 minutes.
  6. I have, but you can't vary the turn size or length like you can with an electric.
  7. I've got the Boosted electric board which is built on a Loaded bamboo deck with gummy skate wheels. The great thing is that once you are comfortable with the accelerator you can toggle the speed up slightly as you enter the turn. On a normal board, on flat land, you would lose momentum and need to turn the other way to keep from tipping over, I just give it a little more throttle and turn for as long as I want. 360 degree carves are easy in both directions, and making turns non-stop for 20-30 minutes is a leg burner.
  8. I've got a Burton Factory Prime and a 172 Custom, both barely used. Any interest?
  9. It's not really a loss of revenue to them since Timberline bought Ski Bowl and has since opened up Mtn. Bike trails. https://www.timberlinelodge.com/mountain/bike-park#trail_map. Kind of lame in my opinion to sue over hitting a trail marker. Next, someone will sue the Forestry Service for running into a tree.
  10. This looks like it would destroy my back.
  11. Timberline has closed Pucci and Flood, but they've opened Palmer. Today may have been my last for the season. I hate riding weekends and weather isn't looking so good for the next few days. BTW, a summer pass is significantly more $ than a winter pass.
  12. 6" of fresh today at Timberline. It was hard to believe.
  13. I was at Timberline today. I think the base is about 175". Lower lifts that are usually shut down by now are still spinning.
  14. Still a pretty decent base here. This was taken this morning and the board is a 175.
  15. It was fun riding with you today. Those park laps were smooth.
  16. Are you at Meadows or Timberline? Do you ride weekdays? Some of us are still lurking around.
  17. I'll be there in the morning. Red jacket, huge Thirst board in black.
  18. https://faststik.com/ Mark at Thirst sells this stuff. I think a new board still needs a couple of hot waxes, but then this application works wonders. I was riding with Jburke a couple of years ago, we had the same boards and he was out gliding me in the flats. I had hot waxed and he had Faststiked. It might not last as long as a hot wax, but application time is really quick, without leaving a mess.
  19. BTS may help. A newer board would definitely help. My legs hurt just looking at that Rossi.
  20. He doesn't build for weight range. If you're under 300 lbs. go for it.
  21. Good thing your in Central Oregon. One of my best powder days was at Bachelor on May 9th.
  22. I have a 175 Incline for sale. If you are interested PM me.
  23. Length: 175cm Sidecut: 10.5m Waist: 24.5 Base and edges are 8/10. Any previous damage has been filled. Topsheet has various scratches and chips, because I used to be an instructor and people kept running over me.
