  1. I met the guys last year at Mad River. Think one of them is on the site. They were interested in making boards more for EC'ing I believe.
  2. Wow, are they just that mushy on the inside?
  3. The problem is, once you start banning a certain activity or group, you are setting a precedent for other resorts or hills to follow. Where do you stop?
  4. Why not consider a Jetta GLI. Has comparable interior space, with quite a lot more cargo space. Four doors for the practical side. Same mileage between the two.

  6. Well I was going to say, if you wipe a wet rag over the area, does it shine up like the surrounding area? If so, it may be a matter of it needing some more resin in the area.
  7. I chose my Honda Pilot because it met all my criteria, not because it was an SUV. I'd much rather have a wagon that met the criteria, but it didn't exist.
  8. Found them. I can snap some pics later if you need them. They are Raichle Freezone ski boots. The only thing that makes them different than there normal 325 snowboard boots are the DIN toe and heel. They can accept the Bomber BTS. Only issue can be overhang, since the DIN toe and heel are larger. I didn't use the stock liner, had some thermos for them. Think one or two riders here use them also. Here is a picture of the type I have. Used them for last season only. If you're interested, $75 plus shipping.
  9. I can check in the morning, should still have my Raichles from last year. 24 Mondo. Cheap.
  10. Sweet, they have some used ones. Some available with Smart Car attached.
  11. Doh! Guess 200K per truck wasn't enough!
  12. This is the one I have my eye on. http://www.earthroamer.com/tab_xpedition_vehicles/xvlt1_overview.html
  13. Link seems broken, didn't work for me. I did find these two though. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeJ8jdt0rx8&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeJ8jdt0rx8&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6u6PhCJwz0Q&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6u6PhCJwz0Q&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
  14. I want to learn how to ski. My girlfriend does both, and purchased some ski's for me last year. I tried them out, and gave up after a bit. Just couldn't get the hang of it. I need to take lessons. My main problem was not using both legs. Could only get my left leg to do anything. I ride regular, so that is my forward leg. I suspect it's the same when I ride too, since I always seem to wear out my forward leg a lot sooner. Other issue was she bought ski's that where a touch too long for a beginner. Granted, once I learn they should rail.
  15. Oh yeah, and the Tanker is easy to ride. I have no issue on mine (192), and I'm only 5'6" 160. I've even ran it through moguls on fresh legs. With my hardboots.
  16. I wouldn't waste any time at Snowking. It was rubbish. Jackson Hole is fun, tons of pow, good vibe. I didn't feel like there was any sort of attitude towards me being on a board. Should at least check out the Mangy Moose one night. Have a margarita, they're pretty darn good. You should also try and go to Targhee. It's likely less crowded, the snow was as good, if not better than Jackson. At least when I was there in early Feb. Very easy to get to. There is a shuttle service also if you don't have a rental. If you are staying in the village, there is also a bus that runs into downtown. Last season it was $3 each way. Wish I was going to be there, I could show you around a little. Wonderful place. Lots to see and do besides skiing and riding.
  17. Looking for one of each, 6 and 0 degree TD1 disks and bumpers. Not too concerned with the color of bumper. I'll take a pair of each too if that's all ya got. Thanks.
  18. I will have to consult the accountant. Edit: The accountant says, No.. Darn it.
  19. Meh, I'm still stuck in the middle of cow-town, so it makes little difference to me. I have to drive somewhere for the good stuff!
  20. I've seen it done with a Fast and Furious style rant.
  21. Damn, if I were a better rider, I'd jump all over that. Well, that and not many place in OHIO to let it shine.
  22. Don't know how safe it is, but I can tell you I wouldn't ride that.
