  1. Excellent work Alex! I received my copy about a week ago and I am drawn into the words and images every time I pick it up.
  2. I do not know the weight range this board was built for though the serial number on the side indicates a 7.3 flex. No, it is not a metal board.
  3. The fit and finish of his stuff is always top notch and impressive. What are the bolts for that are nearest to the center of the plate (the ones that aren't tightened down all the way)?
  4. This board is still available.
  5. What size/model Flow bindings do you have?
  6. I think I've got some orange tongues that will work for you. What size range do they indicate on the inside of the tongue?
  7. Try moving the lever left or right slightly. I found that when I got a new pair that the lever would move better when it was right in the center of the bail and if it got pushed to one side or the other that it was rather difficult to move. Also, like others have said, they loosen up a bit and become easier to move over time.
  8. Got the bindings today. Thanks for the fast shipment!
  9. Dan, what is the name of the Bachelor sales rep? I missed the Bachelor 4 Pack sale and want to see if I can still get in on that.
  10. I've still got this Coiler 190 for sale: http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=33900
  11. Hey, that's boostertwo There's a sequence of pics from that video here http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=351201&postcount=2
  12. Emailed SP last night and found out that they don't have any US distributors. But also found out that they are making their Fastec bindings for GNU. The same bindings that scrapster just said to look at. The SP Mountain looks a bit nicer than the GNU Mutant but the exchange rate to buy the SP from Europe is prohibitive.
  13. I didn't mean to limit the discussion to Flow type bindings. Does anybody have a favorite soft binding that I should be considering?
  14. Posted the question about opinions on bindings to this thread: http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=351646 Thanks for the input on the boots!
  15. I'm finally forced to replace my beloved Clicker boot/binding setup (yes, I really do like Clicker bindings). I got some good input on the boot selection in this thread: http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=34762 I'm hoping to get some input on bindings. I'm a big guy, 240 lbs with a 13 foot. I'm looking for something that will be supportive and durable. I'm not looking for "soft boot carving" bindings (I've got hard boots for that). I'm attracted to the convenience factor of Flow, K2 Cinch and SP Fastec. I've ruled out Cateks because of all the issues it seems people have with bad customer service. Does anybody have any favorite bindings? Is the toe cap strap the way to go? Does the toe cap strap lead to more toe drag? I really like the look of the SP Fastec Mountain Ltd (http://www.sp-united.com/bindings/mountain11/). Does anyone have any experience with these bindings? Does SP have any US distributors (doesn't appear that way on the SP website)? Thanks.
  16. Received the Ride Insano boots and they look like they are going to do the job nicely. Fit is excellent. Length is good for my feet and they are wide! This is great for me as I have a hard time finding footwear that is wide enough. They do feel quite stiff and I'm happy about that. I'm sure they will soften up a bit. The liner has a nice lace hold down inside the shell and the Boa system looks sweet. Outsole of the boot seems a little soft but that might be a trade off for weight. These boots are really light! Thanks for the input everybody. Now, on to bindings. Again, I'm not looking for a "soft boot carving" setup but I'm a big guy and like to charge it. I will need something strong and durable. Any recommendations? I was leaning toward Flow bindings. Anybody have any opinions on them? Anybody in love with any other binding?
  17. I found a discounted pair of last year's Ride Insano boots from REI. Hopefully the fit will be good. Looks like they might be showing up at my house today.
  18. B-2, what bindings do you like? Boot out won't be a problem with the custom Donek fatty I had made last year.
  19. Reluctantly, I have to think about replacing my aging Clicker boots and bindings. I weight about 240 lbs and wear a 13 wide. I need a wider boot that will be supportive in the ankle. This would be for a softie setup (not "soft boot carving" necessarily). I would like good feel for the pow but I am a big guy and like to charge it so I need something beefy. I'd like to find boots with a lacing system that I don't have to tie (why don't they make soft boots with hard boot buckles?!!). I tried on the ThirtyTwo Focus Boa last season and liked the fit. Any opinions on the Boa lacing system? I like the idea but have heard that the system can break down fairly quickly. I've also heard good things about Burton Driver. I've heard that it has a wider fit and that the Speed Zone lacing system works well. Opinions? Thanks.
  20. The link to the website doesn't work. I think you added an extra 'e' in there. Should be: http://www.evolvessx.com/
