This board is in great condition base and edges, one small Nick on the tail needs a little epoxy. I prefer in my advanced age to have lighter boards hanging on the lift, it's a crud busting carving machine I'm just not riding it much. 750.00 cont. US

Alternate personality? Carvers are complex, not judging. And tree wells are not a joke, a patrol at the Bird died in one. I tipped over in the trees after taking a wizz and used way too many muscles to release my step-in and get back up, luckily I was zipped back up ! I guess having someone there to look after you is a good thing.

Never Summer Swift or any of the shaper series? my son is 175lbs and a strong rider, he can rail on their stiffer and bigger boards and he really loves his Heritage, boy he can make that board roar! Are you looking for damp or snappy?

I spent 10+ years on a 20cm 182 and with a little effort a foot and a halfish was fun but yes in the lighter snow you have to push the Monster to ludicrious speeds to get to the joy part. Monsters are like Burton Supermodels, they ride shorter than they are. Here's hoping the Farmers Almanac is correct, this one like the last one!

Wow my head is spinning on this topic, all I know is board stiffness, scr and board tiltness doesn't change the size of the trees at the edges of the runs and if I'm not 100 percent on my game even the best board builder can't make those trees any softer. I don't know what magic Bruce puts in the Contra but I've ridden such a varied range of snow conditions this year and made the biggest turns to the tightest turns that I'm still trying to wipe the grin off my face. I'm sure that she was excited if it compares to my experience, Bruce has found pure magic in the Contra. Holds an edge like it will never let go, at the same time feels so relaxed and forgiving. Makes big round turns but you set it on edge and it goes sideways ! Damp but springy, playful and easy. Softer snow, ice and all between I don't have anything bad to say. I love my Monster for PowMow but I'm afraid I won't be taking her out anymore. I am having so much fun on the Contra it's sad that I'm wearing a mask because everyone is missing the big grin on my face! See you on Friday, Sunday or Monday? YES I deserve a four day weekend !
