Plus, I love the shows in the last season where they were trying to wrap it all together, without revealing too much. I was glued to the TV every Sunday night a 8pm!! Or you could get lucky and she's got just as much or more gear than you've got. It doesn't even have to be the same sport. Thats the beauty of dedicated athletes: they spend a lot of money on gear and respect it when others do the same for their sports. Many people just don't get that. Good luck Dan. I usually barely take anything unless I'm deathly ill. I always figured that drugs make you feel better for a little bit, but as long as its something you can tough through, you'll heal up faster. I never took pain meds during my wrestling carreer because they slow me down a bit, and that little bit is what I need to win. Oddly enough, I win a greater percentage more matches when i'm really injured (fractured ankel) than I do completly healthy. :) Anyways, I rarely use drugs and I find it wierd that, thats what I'm going into to. At least its not crack or anything like that. Its a bit of gear. I can acquire all the gear I want(to a point). I can truthfully tell my wife that this stuff isn't being made any more so I have to get it now. Not that she would give me a bad time anyway. She supports me completely in anything that makes me insanely happy like: snowboarding, river rafting, bow hunting or hot springs. Maybe I am just an aSs if I don't go so she indulges me. But she likes the river, teleing and hot springing almost as much or more than I. So there is never any problem with gear to make it happen, but I don't let us run out diapers while I buy another Burner. There are great women out there who share passion for outdoor sports. Dan, don't pick up those "shackles" that bachelor type dudes trot out as reasons to stay single. I was single for 18 years and married for eight. I'm not extravagant.....plus, I did the same thing about the "closeout" boards-Protos-not made anymore 4807s-not made anymore Alps-not made anymore, plus I picked this one up cheap from Kirk... Good concept, except that she plays waterpolo and all that requires is bathers (OK, for all you yanks, that is a swimsuit) a cap and a ball. Since I swim like a brick, none of that is much use to me! Also, I bought all her snow gear and her bike. She has alot of gear, is a doc, observes steak and bj day AND takes off work to rehabilitate her husband...thats pretty damn good, perfect for any women in most guys' book. The snowboard building would be just icing on the cake. It would be weird that if she built a snowboard and it snapped on Steak and BJ Day, causing her husband to get injured so she would have to stay home to rehabilitate him.
