  1. guys - Practice day is not an open course for demoing equipment or getting in long overdue gate training. The courses are set for riders to to come, get a feel for the hill and process for the comp day. There are athletes who do not get an opportunity to get up there until the very end of the day, and courses are useless because people take 10000 runs it...Really - Nobody should be taking more than 3 runs on each course on practice day...
  2. Its been a blast since waterville in 2000....pretty sure you can't take all of the credit!
  3. if you've never been....you don't actually know what a blast is!
  4. Hey Glenn - I've been promoted to head Alpine TS. Steve Fleck will be at GS and Alison Sterley (Alaska) will be at SL...I'll be primarily down at SL...Now I'm hoping for some sort of promotion at the Incline...Like free beers for old dudes... -Noah
  5. I will be up there running the Alpine Venues... remember...be nice to your officials...know the rulebook. and please no protests! on the other hand, you are welcome to buy us beer at the Incline Bar... -Noah
  6. Nidecker Tornado SL 151... yellow topsheet with Black accents
  7. wow. just wow! took her out today for the first time, and wow. I'm speechless. other than the ability to say wow! my old board was a 2005 Donek 182 FCII, with OS II's I feel like this was jump forward of 10 years in technology. Thanks Steve. Thanks Bruce. Thanks Fin. You are all the man!
  8. buy a 10 dollar old board at an exchange, mount those on them, then hang it on the walls. those were scketchy when i had them 12 years ago...they were old and outdated then.
  9. i ride the crown... you could certainly put the plates on it, but I'm not sure why youd want to... for my money I'd get the new bomber risers...
  10. Massachusetts series... Come on down for the fun... pre-register online at www.usasa.org registration starts at 11:30 slalom inspection from 1-130; race start at 145; GS immediately following... beers at the rooster afterward... who's coming?
  11. Thanks for raining on my parade... There's guy at my local hill riding an asym burton alp. he doesn't want one either! so maybe not everyone wants one!
  12. its more about the trickle down tech than the specific brands. For Instance: Kessler isn't a great freeride board, but the trickle down tech of metal has influenced all of our buying decisions. Similarly, Sidewinders and plates started with the racers...who doesn't want a pair now? I think that way racers push development is essential to drive progression at all levels...
  13. he was wearing a helmet. to give you some perspective, a pipe rider rides at similar speeds to us, then launch themselves 15 ft out of the pipe, which has walls cut on a 22 foot radius to vertical. they are approximately 30+ feet from the base of the pipe. KP hit his head on the edge of the pipe practicing double corks, and and then bounced into the pipe. the crash was eerily similar to shaun whites crash during olympic warm-ups, but had a more catastrophic result. KP was the guy who could have taken white off of the podium. He's a great kid, and will undoubtedly go on to great things... I ride for Kevin...
  14. if your logo is the SES...you should capitalize the spelling properly (or impropoerly, as the case may be): SouthEastern Shred.
