Joe D
Nice gear, GLWTS. I've ridden those Phiokka's, they are rock solid... kinda like Trench Diggers and Burton Race Plates hooked up & had a kid.

*Ace*
@DjulezD Do those Phiokka have a limit on the angles like the SnowPro? I may be interested in them for Skwal purposes. Could you also measure the width? Thanks!

These Phiokka binders have a toothed center disk that drops into the baseplate unlike the SnowPros whos disk sits on top with the bolts going through the 4 slots in the baseplate. Hope that helps Ace. ink
*Ace*
@inkaholic SnowPros have the same issue with angles that the TD1 has. They are only adjustable between a certain range. If you wanted to have more extreme forward angles the design needs to be altered. So there exists two versions of SnowPros like the TD1s. I believe Thias had branded versions with and without built in lift.
DjulezD
Are these Phiokka bindings a good option for skwal? Yes! Tests results below. Specs: for 1 binding weight 830g length 220mm max width 110mm Setup: As @Inkaholic and @*Ace* explained, contrary to the snowpros the center disk is inserted within the black baseplate and rotating fully. Of note, it has a small soft plastic shim underneath for damping. The heel and toe blocks are each screwed on the baseplate using M6 screws. Cant/lift pads can be added to toe/heel blocks using adequate screw length (a bit like snowpros). To adjust the blocks to fit the boots, I chose to remove the bindings from the board. I would also recommend doing it the same way for the cant /lift pads. Then I mounted the fully setup binding to the board. There is absolutely no issues with angles. You can ride in any stance, including 90/-90 (if you are very flexible ). Edited January 21, 2023 by DjulezD add info
