charliechocolate
Nice find. It also looks like they have a foam-injected liner in the catalogue, as well as an XR-5 model that looks like it's ready to go on skis.
Aracan
The foam-injected liner has been around for as long as I remember the UPZ website. Glad to see they are keeping the 8 in the lineup.
snowwjob1
What is it that you like about the 8. I am getting new boots this year and trying to decide which UPZ boot to get.
Aracan
I like that it is cheaper. The RC-12 is probably stiffer out of the box, but I like a lot of flex fore/aft. It is also worth noting that I weigh only about 165 lbs, so YMMV. Edited September 26, 2018 by Aracan
snowwjob1
Thanks. I decided to pull the trigger on the rc12's. I tend to ride in walk mode on powder days so hopefully they will be soft enough.

Going to add stiffer tongues this season for carving. I'm 180lb.
